The food is better than Dixies, unless you miss the pure heat of "The Man". Service is pretty good - you order at the counter, but the food is decently quick and the location nicer than Dixies, and perhaps better lit than Texas Smoke House. Though Texas has outdoor seating in good weather.

These guys have been around forever and they are the model of consistency. We eat there at least once a month, we particularly like their BBQ turkey sandwich.
