Sometimes I don't think it was coincidental that I moved to Bellevue right in time for the grand opening of this store. I've been a lushie for years, but I used to have to go to Canada or pay some serious shipping fees to get my fix. Since the summer of '05 LUSH has been happily housed in the Bellevue Square Mall and I recommend their products without hesitation. Here's some reasons why: 1. Fresh, safe ingredients. They amount of preservatives and and harmful chemicals in some beauty products is insane. Feel free to slather on anything you get from LUSH. It won't hurt you. 2. Fun products! Fizzy bath bombs, massage bars, amazingly scented soap, etc. You might have seen these elsewhere, but at LUSH they are not your average products. 3. Efficacy: LUSH products work. In the beauty world, it is hard to find products that make good on their promises. I especially recommend the BioFresh line. These masks are my lifesavers during skin emergencies! I always do a lot of my holiday shopping here, because so many people I know have fallen in love with these products. Hopefully they'll move into a bigger space soon!

Lush fresh hand-made cosmetics has finally opened a store in Bellevue Square! A friend of mine who flies for Alaska air introduced me to these wonderful products, and she would pick them up on layovers in Vancouver, BC. My personal favorite products are their fizzing "bath bombs" (some make the bath water so creamy that you can use it to shave your legs!) and their Happy Hands handcream (especially nice in the winter). The only thing that keeps this review from being 5-stars is that the Bellevue store is so tiny and *always* packed that it's not the most comfortable shopping experience. Knowledgeable sales staff and high-quality products, however, keep me going back again and again.
