Stadium Renovation Makes it Great! 7/15/2007

Crossroads Cinema has gone through a major renovation into a stadium complex that now merges great movies with an incredibly comfortable movie experience. The new stadium seating allows everyone to have a premier view of the screen. Despite the cost of renovation, tickets have gone up only slightly. Also, the complex has overhauled their concession stand and, more importantly, figured out how to always have fresh popcorn! If you want to go to downtown Bellevue, by all means be my guest--I will stick with the infinitely improved Crossroads Cinema! more

A great cinema for the plus sized folks 7/17/2006

I'm glad the anal retentives don't like this theatre, it makes for a more pleasant viewing experience. I'm a bigger guy, I like the fact that the arm-rests between the seats can be lifted up out of the way. I also like the fact that they provide jobs for the physically challenged among us. I can put up with the rest of it. more

Quality theater 5/28/2006

I visited Crossroads to see X-Men 3 on the second day of it's release and was able to see their primary viewing theater. I was concerned having read other reviews that I would encounter problems, but rather found a quality viewing experience and enjoyed the theater significantly. The theater appeared to be clean and comfortable. It did not have stadium seating, but the seating available appears to offer clear viewing of the screen from all seats. I can not comment on the food having not bought any, but popcorn seemed a bit expensive even as theaters go. Overall, I recommend the theater at least for new movies. more

Not Enough 4/4/2006

I'm not one to go to the theater. Really, the only time I go to the theater is simply to support a movie that I think deserves my money. The experience of the Crossroads Cinema is that of a poorly run theater, which further reduces my urge to go. There are much better theaters just a few minutes away in downtown Bellevue, with better selection, and cleaner floors. The staff have no knowledge of current films, and the website frequently contains errors regarding times, and indeed what movies are actually showing. more

Best movie viewing 8/21/2005

Want to see the latest film? This theater is the place to go to on those boring weekends and free weekdays. Reasonable prices in town and they have one of the largest screens for the main attractions. Also not to mention, the seats are so comfortable and beat any theater nearby. more

not the best choice 8/1/2005

OK, I admit, the location is very nice- in the Crossroads mall, it is close to everything. Shopping, eating. Several choices of each, for all budgets. But the theater looks pretty worn inside, the cleanliness is not very good, the popcorn is usually cold- or slightly warm- and you know how "good" id the smell of stale popcorn. That's the smell in the auditoriums. If you don't mind the smell or lack of hygiene, than you'll enjoy your movie. if you can hear anything, or concentrate on the movie- the last time I was there, there was a lady with a crying baby (wouldn't you cry if you were a baby, it was dark and mommy wanted to see The War of the Worlds? ) - needless to say, nobody asked her to step out and let the rest of the audience enjoy the movie. more
