My wife and I went here the other day, and although I'm not a huge fan of Bellevue in general, we greatly enjoyed Andiamo's Italian authenticity, the romantic setting and wine. We had a delicious and romantic dinner. Not sure what this person below was complaining about, sounds like a foodie with a bone to pick. I'd say this place was fantastic, despite the fact that it's located in Bellevue ;)
Pros: Beautiful sumptous food
Cons: none

After a bad incident ~8 years ago at this restaurant, my husband and I finally returned recently to give Andiamos another try. This second experience confirmed that we won't return again. We were seated at a table that was directly opposite the front door on a very cold night. The draft each time the door was opened was chilling and made our seating arrangements uncomfortable. The hors de oeuvres we ordered (SMOKED SALMON PUGLIESE TOASTS) were very good, but a portion of the hors de oeuvres contained butter, in place of what should've been cream cheese. I don't know if this happened by accident in the kitchen, or whether they'd run out of cream cheese, but 1/2 way through the appetizer, we realized that the recipe wasn't quite right, and not nearly as good as the first 1/2 we tried. For the main course, the veal piccata was EXTREMELY fatty and contained a lot of gristle throughout the meat. It was awful, and a very poor cut of meat. The pasta that came on the side-dish tasted very similar to Spaghettios (we did not eat any of this). But, the vegies were delicious, and we ate every bite! All in all, we were very disappointed in the meal, and won't be visiting them again. The dining establishment itself is romantic and the wait staff was very attentive however, so we have zero complaints about that! Maybe if we had ordered something else on the menu, it would've been better...
Pros: Ambience, Romantic, Quaint
Cons: Poor Food Quality

I went to Andiamo Restaurant last night with a couple of friends and we all agreed this was the best meal we had in a long time. We were impressed with the large display of Italian wines on the central table as well. The staff was attentive and the atmosphere relaxing and friendly. In general a very good experience. Two thumbs up for Andiamo!
Pros: Authentic, friendly
Cons: I can't think of anything

Service: It took at least ten minutes before the wait staff came to our table so that we could order drinks and appetizers. We were visited no more than five times over a 40 minute period. Staff was difficult to understand, all having heavy foreign accents.
Atmosphere: Other patrons were heavily underdressed, mostly t-shirt and jeans. Tables are so close together that you're constantly trying to talk louder than the people next to you. Children were screaming and running amok, running into our chairs and into the wait staff. The staff blatantly ignored the situation.
Food: The appetizer was small, of little flavor. The main course was of roughly the same quality of a national chain restaurant, however costing nearly 3x the price. There were no sides.
Facilities: We were sat near the front of the restaurant. We were constantly cold. As mentioned previously, many of the tables are far too close to each other.
I would NOT recommend this location. It is not romantic, the seating is inadequate for group dining, the food is subpar and overpriced, and the entire staff appears as if it just jumped off a bus from down south.

I love this place. The lighting is soft, the tables are cozy. Every table is the romantic one although we've gone with friends and it doesn't feel odd having the candle light, it feels natural. The food is always delicious no matter what we've gotten. I find myself eating more than I'm hungry for because I enjoy the flavor. I never feel rushed, I'm always happy and satisfied when I go here. I prefer it hands down over the other big Italian place in Bellevue.
Pros: Really good food, wonderful enviroment, never a long wait
Cons: none

This is a really nice choice in Bellevue if you enjoy contemporary Italian dishes. Very warm atmosphere, nice choice of wines, attentive staff. Our large table sampled a variety of appetizer dishes such as the bruschetta, grilled italian sausage (live flame grill), calamari, and prawns scampi.
For the main course, we really loved the chicken piccata. Lovely chicken sauteed in chardonnay wine, lemon capers and butter. We had two kids at our table and requested to please eliminate the accompanying vegetables! The wait staff was very understanding with our changes. There's a great carbonara with very generous bacon and cream sauce. The tortellini in prosciutto seemed to be another favorite at our table. Some of the adults just went with spaghetti or lasagna and everyone was so pleased with their dishes! I almost forget, a few folks tried the "de mare" or seafood options and were quite pleased with their pasta and seafood.
All in all, we would really recommend going to Andiamo's.

wonderful! Not only did the chef prepare fabulous food but the wait staff
was so attentive, helpful and courteous to us! She was great. It's so
nice to dine at a fine restaurant where we can ask the chef to make minor
changes to the menu and the waitress was so attentive to our needs. We
thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Andiamos and will certainly return again.

Dinner for 4 on a special occasion night. We chose a Sunday night in hope of uncrowded Bellevue and a peaceful dinner. We chose correctly.
The food was quite good, the waiter attentive (though a bit "over-the-top") and a nice atmosphere. The prices would be $$-$$$, not the single dollar ($) as indicated. However, we would definitely return.

After finding what I thought was the perfect place to spend a romantic anniversary with my boyfriend reservations were made. Boy was I wrong about this place. When we arrived they had no idea that we had reservations and sat us in a crowded corner where they forgot about us for quite some time. How they forgot about us I don't know since we were seated next to a 3 year old who banged his plates with silverware, screamed at the top of his lungs, and ran all over the place. After our disappointing and pricey appetizers we decided to get the rest to go so we might get a chance to enjoy our special night. Wrong again. The food ( which was on my lap) leaked on the way home. When we opened the containers the serving sizes were ridiculously small. Back to Andiamo's we went to return the food. Finally, after arguing and insulting my boyfriend they gave us our money back. The night which were suppose to be romantic was ruined. Thank you Andiamo.
Pros: there aren't any
Cons: everything
