This is a place you go to for a casual quick Korean meal. The prices are reasonable and the food you get for the price is great but if you're looking for atmosphere to go with your meal (and willing to pay for it) then this isn't the best place. This is more of a "help yourself" fast food Korean restaurant. It is located in a grocery store.

I have been to the store numerous times and the service is always bad. No hello, thank you, dismissive if I have questions. The manager is always rude, they ask me to show my drivers license when I used my debit card. They did not ask the other customers who where Koreans, it seems just the brown people.
I'd rather shop at Uwajimaya then go back or find another store but like the other ethnic groups on other sites have pointed out if you are not Korean, you don't get good service. I'll take my money somewhere else, and yes, I do spend a lot on groceries because I LOVE Korean food.

The snack bar is pretty heavy handed with the spice - so be prepared for HOT food.
