Dr. Spreen's office is one of the coolest dentists' office I've been to. There is a television above the chair so that you can actually watch a movie while he works. I used to have that when I got my teeth cleaned as a kid....it was great! It helps a lot to take the "scare-factor" away from the "dentist" perception. Dr. Spreen also has a solid staff of hygenists.

If your are wondering where you can bring your kids so that they'll actually "enjoy" their dentist visit, this is the place to go! The office environment puts kids at ease throughout their visit. The kids even get to pick what DVD movie they get to watch during their appointment. This small touch ensures that the kid will enjoy what they are watching and will pay less attention to the treatment (very helpful). The hours are a little restrictive though.

Dr. Constance J. Brumm MD, ABFP works at Bellevue Family Medicine Associates near Overlake Hospital. I go here because it is convenient, offers both family and general practice services, and is a nice atmosphere with friendly staff, and good customer service. There are also several other knowledgeable doctors in the same office as well.

I am reviewing 3 of the Drs at Overlake O&G (whom also have an office in Lynnwood).
Dr. Paley...He delivered my second son. He was a very fun and personable dr. Had great bedside manner and was very caring. While I did not see him for Prenatal care, I would have without a doubt.
Dr Van Kiesel..She delivered my third son, with complications during pregnancy. Again, very personable. She took any precautions that were needed and stayed by my side until she knew all was ok.
Dr. Michael Lawler is whom I had the most experience with. I was referred to him by a friend and saw him for the care of all 3 of my pregnancies (as wella s his wonderful nurses Meg and Becky--the best nurses around!). I had 3 complicated pregnancies, pre term labor, cholestasis, Hypertension, etc. Dr Lawler amazed me by never taking chances, even if it was a small one. His concern was obvious for both my self and my babies. I was very nervous in many instances and he just reassured me. He has a very very pleasant bedside manner, soft spoken and very polite. He was always welcoming to both my husband and myself. He did necessary testing, but explained the reasons. I entrusted myself and my babies to his care and I am glad I did. I honestly, am not sure that baby #3 would have made it had it not been for his care.
My phone calls were ALWAYS returned, I was ALWAYS taken seriously and NEVER brushed off!
It's a hard practice to get into, and there is a reason. They are all state of the art Drs! I would have seen #1 and 2 without a blink, but I was very happy with #3. If you are looking for someone to entrust the lives of you and your baby with, Ihighly recommend one of these 3, and cant say enough good things about Lawler, Meg, and Becky.

I've come to this clinic for two years now with Dr. Paras. She's very energetic and is happy to answer questions you have about your health. She will thoroughly explain your diagnosis and treat you accordingly. She'll also go through preventative health care to make sure you don't develop sicknesses in the future. THe clinic has a lot of patients so sometimes I wait there for quite some time before I'm seen. Definitely much past my scheduled appointment time.

I'm moving soon, over an hour away, but I'll probably still go to Lake Hills Clinic when I have a medical problem. Dr Hansen will listen, ask questions, and give a good diagnosis. He isn't slow about referring to a specialist when you need one. "no nonsense" Dr Chamberlain diagnosed my slow thyroid after taking one look at me. The office isn't fancy, but the staff is always caring, and you can get an appointment when you need one.

If you need a root canal, Dr. Faghih at Cascadia Dental Specialists in Bellevue is someone you should strongly consider. I had a horrifying experience with an archaic dentist (Dr. Sims - Issaquah) who actually jammed a needle through an abscess that he failed to notice was there (even after viewing my x-rays)! The experience was horrific beyond description and left me within about a centimeter of going into shock. I had to go to Dr. Faghih to get the abscess removed and a root canal in the tooth the following day and was absolutely scared out of my mind. I'd have to say that, unfortunately, Dr. Faghih didn't display an overly compassionate demeanor, but he was nice enough and the man knew what he was doing. The original dentist had emptied a few full needle cartridges of Novocain, waiting after each for me to become numb, but it just wasn't happening. The last attempt at numbing was the shot he jammed right through the source of my incredible pain: the abscess itself. I was scared to death to have Dr. Faghih give me the “numbing shot” before he had to do all that he had to do. He was so good that it didn't hurt a bit AND it only required one shot! The whole procedure was basically a piece of cake AND he charged less for the root canal than the awful, non-specialized dentist I'd come from!! My former dentist always left me looking like road kill with my face all puffed, pulled and deformed, no matter what procedure he was doing. When I left Dr. Faghih's office, you couldn't tell I had had a single shot of Novocain, much less just gone through a root canal procedure. His office is beautiful and his staff is friendly, as well. Dr. Bruce Beaulaurier's office in Bellevue, Washington is a great place to go for your eyecare. He is extremely well qualified. He has never made me feel rushed when I am in there and when he recommended something to me which I did not understand, he didn't rush me but instead continued to offer me different explanations so that I understood what he was suggesting. His staff is very pleasant to deal with, from when you make your initial telephone call to when you are waiting to pay after your visit. The only negative is that sometimes you do have to wait awhile for an appointment with him, so be sure to plan ahead and schedule your appointments well in advance.
