The staff at Overlake Birthing Center is great. They were kind, patient, and see to it that you are well-cared for. I had a cesarean birth with my son, and so recovery is a more complicated than natural births. I had a very difficult time getting up from bed, and it took me probably over half an hour the first time I tried. Instead of hurrying me along, the nurse took her time to encourage and cheered me on. In addition to having wonderful staff, the birthing center is also well stocked with many necessities for your baby and husband. They provided kimono tops, swaddle blankets, diapers, and pacifiers for the baby and have a nicely stocked snack room for the family. I am glad I chose Overlake to have my baby, and if I get pregnant again, I am sure I will choose Overlake again.
