The technician was thorough and persistent and solved a problem that a previous electrician could not. We found him to be VERY PROFESSIONAL and a definite asset to your company.

I was in a panic because a workman had cut a wire. Your electrician showed up in an hour just as advertised! Give him a GOLD STAR!

to let them know that this price was absurd. They did not charge us the
fee for their guy to come out.
I called another electrician who could come same day and replace the
motor in our fan for $195. Much better.

Having new cabinets installed and need to move an existing plug. The bid to move a single plug 6 inches up a wall... over $660. Needed a permit... Wall damage... needed to cut a hole in my new cabinets for access...
Unfortunately, I have access to the power wire from the basement and the electrician could have gotten some of my money by splicing into the wire (create the "Access" box) and run new wire through the existing hole and to the new plug box located 6" above the old one.
The guy seemed to be on something (maybe too much nicotine). He put on coverings for his shoes, looked at what I needed to have done and then asked if I could have it done on a Sunday as they have an emergency call.
Asked for a bid to install a pendant light over the sink. $199.12 said he without hesitation. Home Depot $75 for the same two wire nut connection and nut tighten down.
Needed some additional work done after the cabinets arrived, but will locate a better company who understands the word service.
Have used these folks in the past... will not again.

Electro Serve called me after the previous review was posted. (They read JB!) They offered me 10% back as a goodwill gesture, no strings attached. The phone rep, like the service guy, was extremely nice. They get big points for great customer service (and for tenacity in offering it, since I've been gone all summer and they've patiently left several messages). So I thought I should let y'all know.

My tenant called to say that a 4-plug outlet in the kitchen wasn't working. No problem--I'll just call an electrician out of the phone book, one that advertises "no job too small." Electro Serve also advertises "We come today or you don't pay!" Sounds great. I call them, and they can indeed come today--the charge for the visit is $189 if I want a one-hour window, $109 for a three-hour window, or $59 to be on "standby." I opt for the three-hour window, since I do have other things to accomplish today. Went to the unit and waited, and sure enough, the guy calls after an hour. We go in and look. It's not immediately obvious what the problem is, but there is one, and he tells me that it will be $335 for a diagnostic. That's on top of the $109. Uhhhh--okay, I guess. Ten minutes later he comes out and tells me that the GFCI is wonky, but he's got the part in his truck. The only problem is--and he does sound apologetic, and shows me the charge in his book--it costs another $320-ish. So, it cost me $765 and change to get this outlet fixed, which took the repair guy about 40 minutes from start to finish. I'm not used to dealing with electricians for small electrical repairs; is it unreasonable for me to feel somewhat taken?
Pros: very quick service, competent and polite service guy, two-year warranty on the work included
Cons: they don't really warn you in advance that you are going to get in too deep, step by step, to avoid a reaming
