Ok, Started off by going to Calidora for a facial. I have really back acne problems. I have had for the last 4 years. I have tried so many other med spa's in the Seattle area. There facial was the best facial I have ever had. No joke with in the first 2 days after my first facial all my zits started to disapear! They got my on products for at home use to help me keep up my results. I have since got a IPL package & a facial package. I got in about once a month for a maintance facial! It really worked. After nothing else would. I tried proactive, murad...and a ton of other products before finding Calidora. Pros: Best Facials For Acne & More!

First I was really impressed with skin care analysis. It was interesting. Second they do microdermabrasion as a part of a regular facial, which is very impressive because everywhere else it costs extra and not pocket change either. I bought a 6 month facial package and a package of 6 laser treatments for acne. The spa was nice and the people were great, but it didn't clear up my acne. After 4 laser treatments, I was prescribed Retin-A micro and that really made my skin a lot worse. As I finished up the treatments, I moved away. But I was a little disappointed that after 4 months, I saw absolutely no improvement. The staff did recommend some great products that I still use, that have had a minimal improvement on my skin. Pros: Nice spa, clean, friendly & caring staff, products Cons: treatments didn't work

I'll admit I'm a full blown product junkie and I thought that I knew my skin and what's best for it better than anyone. After going to Calidora, I will never trust my skin to anyone else again! Including myself. I first went to Calidora and saw Shawna for a peel. My skin immediately was radiant and brighter and I got a ton of compliments. Then a couple months later I had a facial with Shellie at U-Village, who not only is a serious skin expert but she's so cool that its impossible not to have a girl crush on her. The results from the facial were unbelievable, even better than I expected. My skin has never looked better. I tried to book an appointment with Shellie recently and couldn't get in and got a facial instead with Meghan, who is equally amazing and I could not be happier. I urge everyone reading this to make an appointment today, your skin will thank you. :) Pros: The absolute best in skin care expertise!! Cons: None

The staff at Calidora are knowledgeable, approachable and very customer-service oriented. This place is a wonderful addition to the area and skin-care community. I don't disagree that they offer very high-quality, effective, cutting edge services. This is the only problem; while at first you may *think* they are not being pushy, after a few months, take a look at your check book and tally up how much you've spent there. The skin analysis, while great, is also a tool used to prescribe a bunch of things you "need" and that's where the hook is: the number of treatments you need is infinite. If you're going in to simply get a great facial as a treat, then stick to your guns. You may plan to walk in and only have one, but very soon you'll be in for a package of 3 or 5 (because of course they will suggest you need more than one), and the $100 facial you planned on getting very quickly turns into $300, plus all the extra stuff. Also, they push their laser treatments, A LOT. Of course, any basic skin condition you have is *best* treated by lasers. Everyone has wrinkles, sun spots, broken capillaries or a pimple or two. Just keep a focus on what you really went in there for, and how much you can really afford. And be firm with them. I've heard the pitch so much about "needing to reach the middle dermal layer to rejuvenate the collagen" that I could recite it to my friends, if pressed. Really, ask yourself: "Was I planning on spending $3000.00 on keeping up my face this year?" If the answer is no, go to Calidora well-prepared. Also, after you've spent 100+ on a facial, it's very easy to be talked into buying their products. My technician implied at multiple-times that drugstore products were inferior, the cause of my problems, and when you spend that much on a facial, it's easy to be swayed. Beware. I still refer friends to Calidora for small things. I just tell them to be well-armed. Pros: Great, clean, effective services Cons: Easy to get sucked into buying things, too much socializing among staff

I have been seeing an aesthetician at the Bellevue Calidora Skin Clinic and my acne is completly healed. My first time in they analyized my skin very thoroughly and made me feel very comfortable. I started using the complimentry samples and the next week I had a deep clensing facial! After two months of treatments my skin is acne free for the first time since I was 15! I would definitely recommend Calidora to anyone who is looking for results!!!! Pros: Non Pushy
