Dr. Nov and his staff make a visit to the dentist a very pleasant experience. The scheduling is prompt and I feel welcome by a friendly staff every time I visit the office. Dr. Nov is very thorough and explains every procedure performed to make any patient feel comfortable even the most anxious. It is a plus to be able to watch a movie during a long visit, it helps to take your mind off of having your teeth worked on. Dr. Nov and his staff definitely take the time to meet each patients individual needs and you can tell they love what they do.

Great dentist, great staff. Easy scheduling, in and out quickly. Plus, Dodi's as much of a geek as many us patients of his (and I mean that in a good way). He's got a PC in the waiting room for patient use, Wired magazines in the racks, and a vast movie library to watch while getting treated. He'll discuss the minutiae of the Star Wars universe or the latest Kevin Smith movie while filling your cavity. Always accessible for dental emergencies by cellphone as well.

I recently became a patient of Dr. Dodi Nov. After having gone to the same dentist for 12 years, I wasn't sure what to expect. When I entered the waiting room, there was another patient perusing the titles of DVDs. DVDs! Not the old VHS tapes (about 5 of them) that my previous dentist had. I was quickly escorted into the examining room for a series of X-rays that were executed quickly and professionally. After the X-rays, Dr. Nov came in and introduced himself, apologizing for the delay (which I hadn't noticed at all). He did an initial examination and was thorough and explained things in layman's terms. I haven't had any work done yet but I expect it to be professional and hopefully, relatively pain-free.

There are dentists and then there are masters of their craft -- and Dr. Nov is definitely the latter. He's taken a procedure that patients traditionally dread and turned it into a totally enjoyable experience. His often talked about movie catalog is only the start of what you'll love. His bedside manner is stellar and attention to detail unparalleled. The service of his staff is impeccable and it's clear that all his equipment is state-of-the-art. I moved to New York 7 years ago and still fly back to be his patient. It's rare to find a professional in any industry who focuses this much on the total "experience" -- world class brands could learn a lot from Dr. Nov.
