I arrived well in time for my appointment, but was not returned the favor. Had to wait to be seen by the doctor. I saw Dr. Prothero and really liked his bed side manner and the way he explained everything to me. The same cannot be said of how they billed me. I was told that contact lens fitting was completely optional, and knowing my problems with contacts in the past, I opted out. The doctor gave me a (two-week) sample to try out to help make up my mind. I was to make a separate appointment in two weeks time if I decided to go with contacts. I never did that but was billed for contact lens fitting, along with the sample contact lens. It took me months of phone calls to get them to take this off.

Overlake Eye Care is adjancent to Washington Mutual in Northrup way. Dr Prothero is the optometrist I saw. He was a very friendly doctor who examined things to me in a very clear way. The supporting staff are very friendly too. There is an adjancent eyeware store that sells high-end frames. Their prices for lens seem to be very steep though and the wait time is too long.
