Best

I am another huge Gymboree fan. The key to shopping there to beat the high prices is to KNOW when the sales are coming. Their key sales are: *Gymbucks ($25 off of a $50 purchase)...

Worst

I liked the old Gymboree store in Bell Square better than the new one. The old store was smaller, you could find things easier, and it had a much nicer staff and a better locatio...

worst customer experience 7/17/2009

I just moved to the area and went to return something I got from their online store. Because it involves GymBucks (special discount), the sales lady just didn't want to "next time you shouldn't buy from online"!!! My worst experience with Gymboree. Vow not to go back! more

Kinda snobby store 4/29/2006

I liked the old Gymboree store in Bell Square better than the new one. The old store was smaller, you could find things easier, and it had a much nicer staff and a better location (next to the bakery in the center of the mall nearer to the tugboat). This new location seems to have way more girl clothing than boy clothing, and it seems that Gymboree isn't too hip in making larger boys clothes like they used to. Their prices are MUCH higher than they used to be and the sales are kinda sucky now. They used to have a great line of basic kids clothes, which they got rid of (don't know why - probably because of Old Navy). And the way they have their store planned out, it's really hard to maneuver a stroller in (they do it to cut down on theft, but in the end, it cuts down on customer satisfaction because it's too hard to move around!). I dunno, but I feel that the Gymboree at Southcenter is better than this one. They need to feng shui this Gymboree! more

Shopping at Gymboree? KNOW the sales! 3/24/2006

I am another huge Gymboree fan. The key to shopping there to beat the high prices is to KNOW when the sales are coming. Their key sales are: *Gymbucks ($25 off of a $50 purchase) *Rise and Shine (usually 25% off a new line) *Friends of Gymboree (between 25-30% off) *Red Hot Dot Sale (past lines, deeply discounted) And of course, if you have the Gymboree Visa, it is an additional 5% off. more

Best place to get bubbles for kids 3/2/2006

The clothes are cute but the prices are more than I want to pay. What I DO get at this place, though, are their bubbles. Called "Bubble Oodles", they last a ridiculously long time AND can be used indoors because they're not all soapy. The saleslady said something about how they're made with sugar instead of soap. The ingredients are not listed on the product, which does concern me just a little, but we've never had problems with skin allergies from them or anything. Although they can be used indoors, the saleslady did mention that they can make a hardwood floor slippery, so we only use them in carpeted areas. If your shopping at Bell Square and your kid is getting antsy, Gymboree is a good place to stop in for a few minutes anyway, if only for the little tv area complete with kid-sized chairs... more

Great clothing, so-so customer service 12/1/2005

I'm a huge Gymboree fan. They have names for all of their lines and everything pretty much coordinates so watch your wallet, it adds up fast. The Bellevue branch is one of the largest in our area, so there are usually items that smaller stores don't carry. The staff is pretty friendly, but some do give an attitude when you return. In my case, I tend to return a lot, but I purchase a lot more than I return. So, I'm not sure what the attitude is all about, it's not like the employees are losing out. The Redmond staff seems to have better customer service and the ladies have been there for awhile. The Baby Gap still has the best customer service, in my opinion. more

Cutest clothes 7/12/2005

It is just way too overpriced. Never buy anything unless it is on sale. It will go on sale eventually. These are quality and cute clothes which you will get great wear out of. The clothing lines they carry are very cute and resell well after your kids are done with them. The staff are fairly helpful. Can get busy sometimes. They have a tv with videos for kids. more
