I love the bread they serve you when you first sit down - its almost TOO delicious. The grilled chicken salad is mouthwatering and the only thing I've had so far. I go back weekly and always introduce this place to friends.

I could not believe the stuff you can rent these days. R&R had everything I needed for a 50th B-day party for a friend. Their staff was so helpful with everything. The delivery truck arrived as they said it would. The equipment was clean and looked really great. I would recommend them to anyone hosting a party.

The Home Sushi Bar in Loehmann's Plaza is a great place to get some sushi to-go. Their prices are average for sushi bars and the location is frequently visited by high schoolers in the area and people who work in the area. They offer many different kinds of sushi and they can make you whatever you want.

I don't "get" Zoopa. I guess I just don't get all excited about an all you can eat soup, salad and pasta bar - especially when it's lukewarm and mediocre at best. I've encountered cold sauce, undercooked pasta and limp lettuce at zoopa. If I want a salad bar for lunch or dinner, I'll head to Alfy's any day over Zoopa!

This is one of the best places on the Eastside to hold a reception, or event.
The Staff of planners is very professional, and easy to work with. They are used to catering to a very discerning clientèle, and it shows.
Always willing to go the extra mile or step for a guest. The rooms for events are also very nice. They can provide projectors and screens for presentations.
Bathrooms, and overall first impression upon entering is impressive.

More
Hosts who have planned parties of significant size have had to come to terms with their need for caterers, rental companies, florists, valet service and even, on occasion, event coordinators. For some reason though the idea of hiring a professional bartender to pour wine, mix drinks, welcome guests as they arrive and keep on eye on rambunctious revelers all the while dispensing valuable relationship advice (as all good bartenders do), falls into the camp of extravagance with gilded lilies and weekends in Paris.
Ask professional party planners about what can really sink an otherwise flawless party, though, and a chorus of voices will come back with the same answer, the absence of capable and professional bartender. Ask around Seattle for a recommendation and one comes up over and over again at Martini's Bartending Services. Martini¹s Bartending Services will provide you with professional bartenders, the bar themselves, glassware, stemware, wine and spirits (if your caterer is not handling this Martini's will even do the shopping), as well as that relationship advice. Costs vary, but a bartender serving a full bar for a four-hour party with 50 guests (glassware included) is about $15-$20 a person (not including tips).

More
If you're looking for something a little bit different, or perhaps just a really well-made sandwich, consider checking out the Delicatessan of Europe (also known in the past as European Deli). This tiny shop has a variety of taste treats that should not be missed.
I can't think of another spot in downtown Bellevue with better sandwiches (my favorite is roast beef piled high on sourdough) and the people working the shop are always wonderfully friendly. The store itself is quite small, so I usually prefer to get my lunch to go though I've usually found a table or two when I've gone.
Delicatessan of Europe also carries a variety of deli meats and cheeses and other fresh goods along with imported European chocolates, cookies and other packaged snacks. Another of their staples worth trying that would be difficult to find elsewhere would be the bottles of imported fruit syrups. Among other uses, these eastern European syrups can be used as-is on pancakes and ice cream or can be mixed to taste with ice water as a sort of Kool-Aid alternative - very refreshing in warm weather.
In addition to food-stuffs you might be craving (or at least interested in trying), this Russian-owned and operated store is a great resource if you are looking for information about other Russian-operated or -friendly businesses, Russian language study, or general news and information. When a friend adopted a child from a Russian orphanage, this was my first stop to find a treat her daughter would recognize. It's just a cool place to go, so I definitely recommend you check it out.
