Barrier audi.
So this morning as I was driving my wife into work my rear left tail light went out. On the way back I stopped at barrier to set up an appointment. Usually they ask for an appointment for this kind of junk. I was pleasantly supprised when they told me that they were sending a guy up to fix the light right there. I gathered up the kids and headed into the customer waiting room, while grabbing a cup of coffee on the way.
The kids sat down at the little kids table which had pads of paper and markers. What a joy to behold. Markers! Well you can’t knock barrier for at least trying. My kids colored intently for all of 7-10 min. I had barely gotten ½ way into my cup of coffee when, bingo my light bulb replacement was done.
WOW! This is a far cry better service than I had received my first two visits in. Even a bit better than the nearly impersonal service I received 2 weeks ago for my 25k service. I know barrier is trying hard to take back control of customer service. This review is to let them know that it is noticed, and it is appreciated.

I was able to negotiate my car to with in 200 of the dealers cost. Audi of america rarely gives dealers kick backs. So usually with audi the best you can get to is dealer cost. I procured my financing online and walked in with a check. I had researched a car on line and walked out the new owner 2 hours later.
now to the iffy part. My very first service was a night mare. To straighten out my issues i had 7 phone calls 3 emails and finally the general manager lisa made it happen. since then i have had good, not great, not supurb but good solid consistant service. I am now at 30k.

i went through the internet sales dept and got a great deal -- much better than university audi. i got a horrible offer on my used car though and ended up selling it for double on craig's list. the service was ok, they made me wait longer than i needed to and only gave me my tags a few days before my temp plates expired. overall, i wouldn't say they were great but the price i got was at invoice so that was a v nice thing.
