Coming from Houston, Texas where I have lived for over 22 years before I moved to Seattle, I have been spoiled by the best in the hair industry. I met Regina, a Stylist and Colorist with a following, at a different Salon a few years ago when I moved to Seattle - and I have tried to keep track of her because she is so talented with hair. I finally found her again at Obadiah Salon in Bellevue. The Salon itself is cool and classy with a European feel to it. No discomfort there! Nice positive, clean energy flowing. Regina has such a concept of hair that it is understandable that one does not want anyone else to cut or color your hair after Regina has done it. When you get out of her chair, your hair is RIGHTEOUS! She understands all types of hair, but most of all she understands how I want to LOOK, notwithstanding my own shortcomings. Regina has unique wherewithall knowledge and talent in the color concepts of hair. She KNOWS what to do and why it's done a certain way. She cut my hair in a way that astounded me. She has a pleasing professional ease about her and a funny streak to boot! Man or woman, I would put my head in her two competent hands any time. I've done it for a while, but I've never written a review until the last time Regina did my hair and I was Hollywood beautiful. Regina used great products on my hair. The outcome of the color and the cut was so pleasing. Not flimsy (I have thin hair, but I have a lot of hair and I have cow-licks!) not overdone - just right and comfortable. I will definitely return to the classy upscale comfort of Obadiah Salon and request Regina's talent for my cut and color.

I don't want to sound schmaltzy but since I started to get my hair colored by Stephen I get ton's of compliments always followed by "Where do you get your hair done and who does it?" The color is my favorite thing. I just tell him to do whatever will look good and it always looks fantastic.

Stephen is a great stylist! He has done training with Vidal Sassoon, and is a color educator so he KNOWS color! I have been seeing him for 5 years now and have been more than happy with everything he does that is why I will forever keep people up to speed where he is at. I love change and he is constantly making my hair very up to date and fashionable --- it's kind of funny because whenever my roots grow out and I need to get it done I still get soooo many compliments on it even after a few months of growout. I have seen him at many salons but OBADIAH by far is the best - kind of NY lofty feel with lots of windows so you can really see your color! See Stephen, you won't regret it!!

My friend and I needed some salon therapy last year, and we asked for a referral from our server where we were having lunch. That is how I became aware of Obadiah, and I have had happy hair days ever since. We walked in, and I wound up in Apryl McCarthy's chair. It turns out that she has won the best stylist award in the Best of the Northwest contest through Evening Magazine at least 2 times in the past 3 years. She is very skilled at cutting hair in a way that allows you to style it yourself and have it look (almost) as good as when you leave the shop. She is also an incredibly skilled colorist, and is very good at bringing depth with a combination of high and lowlights. They do not come cheap, but considering they offer full salon and spa services in the middle of downtown Bellevue, their prices could be a lot worse. It is a great place to unwind after a busy day.

I am very very very picky when it comes to my hair. Cliff does a great job of paying attention to how I like to wear my hair- and every time I leave the salon I get a million compliments on my hair. He does a great blow out- and I have long hair. In the past I would get blow outs and then when I had to blow dry my hair the cut never looked quite right. This is not that case with Cliff- even though he makes me look like a rock star- I can still easily style my hair. He also highlights my hair- making sure the lighter tones are not to much for my natural dark hair. The salon is very clean and has great hard wood floors- I always feel like I am some place in New York City. Though the prices can be steep it is worth every penny!! Make sure you get your parking validated if you park at Bellevue Place

This salon has been great for all of my hair needs. I have two girls who do my hair - one for cuts, the other for color and couldn't be happier with their service. I have also used their massage services and found them to be great. However, I do not recommend getting a facial here. I got one and the lady talked the entire time (I wasn't able to relax) and she was very rude.

Obadiah Salon has a very calm, relaxing atmosphere and offers a variety of services. Their skilled hair stylists do wonderful work in a light, airy, relaxing environment. They have a whole list of services they offer as a day spa, with several types of massages and facials as well as manicures and pedicures and makeup application. I loved their promotional materials, they were clear and well-presented. Overall, this was a very nice spa that makes for a great treat to yourself or as a special gift to a friend or loved one.
