We eat out at least twice a week so it stands to reason that we've had our fair share of great and not so great customer service experiences. Sometimes the food is so good that you make allowances for somewhat shoddy customer service. However, the service at WesternCo Donuts in the CrossRoads area is so bad that even we refuse to ever step foot in the store again.

This the best place for various types of donuts but don't expect good customer service. They are pretty inpatient and if you don't make a decision quickly, she will make it for you. ;)

I work just across the street from Westernco Donuts and visited them out of curiosity one day. Their donuts are awesome.. and at great prices too. But their service is bad! The lady at the counter is so impatient. Since I was a first-time visitor, I asked her a few questions on which-one-is-what, does their croissants have any meat, etc.. and she literally yelled at me asking me to choose quickly coz she has to go out for lunch!
Pros: Tasty donuts, Amazingly low prices
Cons: Customer Service

Tired of the fat lobs from Krispy Kreme? Longing for a plain ol' cake donut, but tired of the stale rocks from the grocery store bakery? Westernco makes donuts fresh daily--arrive early for best selection. They have cruellers, bars, sprinkles, coconut-topped, apple fritters, and more. Their hours can be kind of iffy--especially on weekends, don't look for them to be open past 11am, as families clean them out fast.
Cash only, but you'll be popular at work when you show up with that pink pastry box. They have a couple other locations in Puget Sound.

I checked this place out (Bellevue location) chasing a donut craving and wanting to avoid grocery-store donuts (ew!) or bad Krispy Kreme (I won't give them my money in light of the recent lawsuits against them). I am glad I stopped in here! The donuts were delicious and plentiful - even in the middle of the afternoon! Yep, it's small and the decor is old - so? They've obviously been around for decades. The service was SUPERB. Friendly, sincere, charming, and very generous. Great prices, too. And they're a local company, not a national chain. Can't beat it, especially on the east side! Want a franchised donut experience? Or ""ambience""? Go somewhere else? But if you want excellent donuts, with great service, at an incredible price, from a local bakery on the east side, Westernco is it. I will be back, time and again.
Pros: unbeatable prices, great service, tasty and fresh

I love this place. The donuts are some of the best I've ever had. Not too sweet, a huge variety, freshly made. My family heads to this place after the Opera if that says anything other than we're just a bit strange. If I had to choose just one place to get donuts for the rest of my life this would likely be it.
Pros: Late hours, Great selection, Delicious
Cons: Odd location, Interesting decor
