The service manager for this company was relieved of his duties shortly after this incident took place with Liz S. Sadly, it should never have happened. I am glad to have the opportunity to address this complaint, now that I have been able to track it down. Liz, if you would please contact me, even though it is three years later, I would like to see if there might not be some way we can satisfy your upset. I received several complaints about this fellow in the months after his departure, and am sad that he ever came to work for this company. Ed,the owner of Eastside Transmission, has been here since it opened in 1962. I have known him for more than thirty years and a more honest and genuine fellow I have never known. I do know that an immediate, positive impact was made on customer relationships when I came on board. The crew here has also striven to improve customer relations, and the results of their efforts were that we were named Shop of the Year in 2008 by AAA. Achieving that level of performance was not an easy task. Maintaining a high standard of excellence in taking care of our customers is an aspiration for us, and we will work unceasingly to make sure the best job possible is done for our customers. I feel so strongly about the need for good customer service that I have the shop phone forward to my cell phone after hours.
