If they invented the guy food store it would be called Checkers. I'm here a lot... In only one trip I can get the best deli sandwich in western mass, a six pack of my favorite microbrew, groceries for my home and on the way out to the car I can grab a large twist cone from Chubby Checkers next door. I'm actually suprized Stop n Shop hasn't gone out of buisness....

At this little general store in Belchertown, you can see that the family run business is really at the heart of everything they do. Its small, and you might have to wait a few minutes, but its a great little place. There is a small restaurant on the side that serves burgers and ice cream. If you are in the neighborhood, stop by and have something at Checkers.
