I've been to 3 west multiple times and love it each time. It has a very romantic setting with a beautiful fireplace in the middle of the restaurant. They have great food and drink choices, I would certainly recommend it to people in the area.

A very good upscale establishment in an historic grain house (watch the low ceilings!). Bring your Amex, however, it's a little pricey. But you get what you pay for - I have eaten here several times (it's my special occasion restaurant) and have never been disappointed. Even the desserts are fantastic. Good wine selection to go with your meal. The wait staff have always been friendly and funny.
The food is very good - the menu changes a bit as well.

Chu's Cafe is a really great chinese restaurant. They do both eat-in and take-out. The food is great and the place is MUCH nicer than most chinese restaurants. It's decorated in a clean/modern way and the service is fast. Also, the prices are very reasonable.

The Olde Mill Inn was fabulous for my wedding. I wanted something beautiful, rustic, and of course, memorable. The Olde Mill Inn delivered. I looked at a ton of places but once I walked inside I was done. It is soo pretty and everything I could want. The food was excellent, service perfect and atmosphere warm yet schwanky.
I got the deluxe package with the mashed potato bar. Everyone is still talking about it. Although the tasting wasn't great the actual dinner at my wedding was to die for.
Leading up to the day Eric was amazing in helping me through all the details. They even let me bring all my favors, cameras, table cards and centerpieces in two days before and set it all up for me exactly as I had requested. I cannot say enough about the Olde Mill Inn and if you can swing it I definately reccommend upgrading your free hotel room to the suite. It was a wonderful room to get ready in before and to wind down in after.

Base Camp is a very nice athletic goods store in downtown Basking Ridge. The selection of clothing is nice -- very similar to what you would see in an EMS store. My only complaint is that the prices are quite high and the items that are on sale are generally out of season or so ugly it's a wonder that they will ever sell!
