Not too many places to eat down this end by the light house. Kubles always has good burgers and nice cold beer. They have some good seasonal specials on beer too. If you sit in the one dining area of the restaurant you can watch the fishing boats going in and out of the inlet.

If you need a good place to go for a day out, Barnegat Light State Park is one for the books. From my avatar, you can see that I love the lighthouse (Old Barney) and you would too, after going there.
Visitors can climb the 167+/- steps to the top of the lighthouse and see the surrounding shorelines. What a sight!! You can also walk along the 1/4 mile jetty, watching local fishermen cast their lines.
There are also nature trails and many picnic areas available.
Highly Recommend!!!!!

Rick's American Cafe has been a local icon in Barnegat Light for over 20 years. Offering a multitude of edibles at very reasonable prices, Rick's is the place to go, whether for a full meal, light snack or just a casual drink.
Downstairs is the bar area, with a small dance floor, stage area (for the scads of amazing bands that have performed there), and tables for eating the delicious bar food offered. Upstairs is the restaurant area, with delicious cuisine also at reasonable prices. (higher than the bar but still good).
I highly recommend Rick's American Cafe to anyone who visits or lives on LBI !!!!!!!!!!!!!
