We had six in our party on a Saturday nite and had a wonderful time. Food was terrific, truly authentic. Best grape leaves I've ever had. I agree with Craig B. Great atmosphere and superb food. Belly dancer was outstanding, as was the hookah. Will definitely go back.

Ze Mean Bean Cafe has always been a delight to visit. On top of having very good Eastern European food, they have a fairly regular schedule of live music appearances. The times I've gone, these have always been very good--particularly the classical guitar trio. The atmosphere is very cute and homey, and always makes me want to come back again. This place is great! Amazingly eclectic food and atmosphere. Some may say that it's small, but once you are at your table, it's nothing but warmth from a delightful staff and cozy atmosphere. I've seen them busy to full capacity, but the wait has never been longer than 10 minutes for a table. Try the hriby dip or any of the chef's specials that your server will recommend- Any are sure to please!!! Plus, try a wine flight from their extensive list or an Eastern European beer- You'll likely not find another list like it in Baltimore. This is my favorite restaurant for brunch, lunch, or dinner! Ze Mean Bean does not disappoint!!!
Pros: Charming, Great Food, Friendly Service, Lots of Attention, Live Music
Cons: The live jazz can be overwhelming if you are on the first floor.

This YMCA just opened over the past year, so it's equipment and facilities are all brand new. YMCA offers a much more reasonable membership rate than many health clubs, and your dollars also go to support other programs for children and the elderly. This particular YMCA is drawing tons of 20 and 30something locals--a good singles place, perhaps? It's built on the old Memorial Stadium grounds where the Orioles used to play!
