Crabs were outstanding (cannot comment on anything else because we didn't eat anything else).
Personally, I like Obrycki's seasoning far better than the Old Bay that usually encrusts Baltimore crabs, so this was a wonderful find. There were six of us and zero complaints.
Service was great. Atmosphere good.
Pros: Obrycki's pepper seasoning

I have been eating here since 2004, and have watched this restaurant change hands many times. But no matter who is in charge, I have never left disappointed or hungry.
If you are skeptical about a sushi buffet, give this one at least one chance. Even if you aren't all about the sushi, buy a buffet meal and you will get plenty of variety with things other than sushi (delicious bean sprouts, steamed mussels, BBQ ribs, glazed chicken, etc). I have taken friends along for the dinner buffet, and even those that were totally against the sushi idea still ate well and left with loosened belts!
If you want to interact, you can sit at the sushi bar and have your rolls made to order right in front of you. While sitting at the bar I have sometimes been treated to exotic delicacies by the chefs. If you prefer a more intimate atmosphere, take a seat in the dining area and you will still be waited on by the friendly staff. About mid-meal, you'll be brought out a plate of complimentary steak which is always my favorite part of eating at The Daj.
I would recommend this restaurant to those looking for a great sushi place to call their own.
Pros: Buffet is the #1 pro, service is friendly, price is fab!
Cons: Selection on the sushi buffet could be bigger

Miss Shirley’s is great! Weather you go with a bunch of your friends or by yourself, this spot is great. My girlfriend and I drove up from Atlanta, GA for the inauguration and stated in Downtown Baltimore, MD. It was snowing on Martin Luther King Day and because I’m from the New York area driving in the snow didn’t bother me. We parked on the street and went in side. The wait was only a minute and we were seated promptly. As we waited for our server the plates of food the servers had for the other patrons was phenomenal. Cinnamon Roll French toast, Crab Benedict and a great selection of pancakes. Our server was great and keep the coffee and tea flowing. When were left the line was out the door.I wish I could pick this place up and bring it to Atlanta, GA. I will make sure I come back here the next time I’m in the Baltimore area.
Pros: Everything
Cons: Gets crowded fast!

On recommendation from friends who know I like HOT food, my husband and I ate here. WOW! Their shrimp vindaloo was the BEST I ever tasted! I ordered it call out the fire department hot and they didn't disappoint! Not just hot, but very nicely spiced. My husband ordered a milder dish (korma) and it was wonderful, too. Definitely plan to eat here again on our next vacation to Baltimore!

The food at Della Notte is visually appealing as well as palate-pleasing. The menu always includes a variety of new appetizer and entree specialities as well as their delicious standard dishes like roast lamb and veal with wonderful wine reductions and pasta with seafood and savory sauces. The dessert menu is also varied and includes creme brulee, gelate, tiramisu & zabaglione. My husband and I always enjoy the spaciousness and lack of crowding in this beautifully appointed restaurant with soft music playing in the background and prompt, polite servers. They even pick you up & drop you off at the theater, symphony, etc., if you are going there. It's our favorite restaurant!! Also, they have their own parking lot which is a boon in downtown Baltimore.
Pros: food, ambience, free parking
Cons: none

I love going to Neal's! I don't go often, simply because I'm not a salon/day spa kind of gal, but whenever I do, I always have a great experience. The staff is friendly and fun, the atmosphere is light hearted, and most importantly, they really know what they're doing! I've had my hair cut and dyed here, as well as a few manicures and pedicures, and everything always turns out beautifully. They also have a full day spa, where they offer all types of pampering treatments. If you visit their website, you can view their prices, and they usually have a few downloadable coupons, including a 10% coupon for new customers. See you there, gorgeous!

The Ambassador Dining Room has an astounding weekend champagne brunch. In addition to traditional breakfast items and requisite mimosas, you'll find a full selection of Indian favorites.
The atmosphere, on a sunny day, is fantastic. They have patio with a ton of plants, greenery, and fountains; inside is decorated like a royal study; you sit on leather high-backed chairs with pillows. It feels like you get the royal treatment, and the wait staff is very accommodating. Give this hidden gem a try!
