When you enter No. 1 Chinese Kitchen, it does not seem any different from any other Chinese take out place. However, their menu is extensive and their food is just great. They don't just serve every dish with that ubiquitous brown sauce - there is actually a difference between the garlic sauce and the Kung Pao sauce. Also they make their own duck sauce, which comes in little plastic containers. Be sure to pick this duck sauce over the standard duck sauce packets. The tofu is always fresh, as are the vegetables. Must try.

The 13th Floor is my ideal place for a night out--the crowd that frequents there tends to be more mature (in that they are over 18) and classier than the crowd that you'll find in some other Baltimore bars. They are located at the top of the Belvedere building, and have a fantastic view of the city through floor to ceiling windows on either side. Good music adds to the appeal. In my opinion, a winner in terms of Baltimore nightlife.

The 1st Mariner Arena is home to the Baltimore Blast,. an indoor professional soccer team that does not get enough attention. The team is really good and the games are always fast-paced and exciting. The Baltimore Blast has won the MISL Championship several times. You will really enjoy the game. Each season, The Blast sponsor youth night after one of the games and have concerts and other activities for the youth.

One of the great things about Baltimore is that it is great to WALK or run in. It's easier then driving everywhere you need to go and the exercise is good for you.
For the person who is in to exercise and cross-training this store is a great find. They have a really helpful staff and a great product selection. When I went there last time I had one sales person spend a half hour with me trying to find the right type of shoe for me and never once did I feel like I was an inconvenience.
Great store to shop at for walking/running gear!
