The Edgar Allan Poe House and Museum is okay, but nothing to write home about. it is interesting though around the time of his death, apparently there are mysterious people out there that leave presents to the great poet...half drank bottle of booze and roses. that would be the time to check out the museum. more

Edgar Allan Poe 8/20/2005

Edgar Allan Poe is known being a great writer. In the early 1830s Poe lived in Baltimore with his family. His house has been turned into a museum and many of his personal items are on display . One of the more unique items on display is a lock of Poe's hair. It's a great museum to visit if you are a Poe fan, but even if you aren't it is still very enjoyable. more

Poetic History 8/18/2005

Come and see a large collection of Poe memorabilla. Edgar Allan Poe , the geat poet, lived in this duplex in the early 1830's with family members. Many things owned by Poe are on display here. There is even a lock of his hair and a piece of Poe's coffin. This is Baltimore's smallest museum house. Call for more information. more
