Pros: Excellent food, high-energy service (that should be a standard for other restaraunts) Cons: Can be noisy on crowed night (imagine being in Greece and you'll allow for it)

It isn't only the food that we enjoy at Samos, but the atmosphere and the waitstaff are beyond compare. We travel from Churchville MD regularly to fulfill our Samos attack. When our daughter comes to visit from Raleigh, one of the main things on our "to do" list is to eat at Samos. Our favorite choice is the veggiekabob with chicken. We eat to our heart's content and then have enough to fill a doggie bag. Thanks for providing such an enjoyable service for us. Pros: food, atmosphere, service

I found Samos by accident one day, and boy am I thankful! I went for lunch with a friend, and was pleasantly surprised. From the outside, it doesn't look like much, inside the walls are painted with Greek scenes. Busy, and packed was my first impression, but I was quickly greeted and a table was pointed out to me. We tried the kalamari - fresh, crispy, and delicious, and quick! I went with the Neptune salad, and she ordered the gyro. My salad of greens, onions, and olives was fresh and topped with garlicky medium sized shrimp, and huge chunks of feta. The dressing is brought to the table so you can go as light or heavy as you like - and it is out of this world. My friend said her gyro was not too special, but above average. (It looked pretty good to me.) Sadly we had no room for sweets, but I won't make that mistake next time. Even though they don't keep it a secret, I realized after the meal that only cash is accepted at Samos. Fortunately, they have an ATM in the restaurant, but if I only had a credit card with me I might have been in trouble. That said, I can't wait to do it again! Pros: fresh, fast, friendly

The Gyros is a well seasoned combination of beef and lamb, truly a great sandwich! There is limited seating and the people that come to sit at lunch time come prepared for a long lunch break, due to the sometimes lengthy lunch wait times but they also deliver.

Samos is a little Greek restaurant located in Baltimore's Greek Town. The food is just intense. The flavor, the consistency... My compliments to the chef, Nick, who is also the owner. Nick oversees the entire operation from front to back. He makes sure that the staff is attending to the customers and he makes absolutely sure that he doesn't allow the restaurant to be overwhelmed by there being too many call in take out orders that will interfere with the service being offered to the sit down customers. The food... The salads are always fresh. The Gyros (pronounced yee-roo) is a well seasoned combination of beef and lamb, truly a great sandwich! There is also a Shrimp Wrap, a seafood twist on the Gyro; I rate the Shrimp Wrap as FANTASTIC!!! The Pekelia Platter is something of a sampler, this platter has Greek potatoes, (if you haven't tasted Greek potatoes you haven't eaten potatoes) a greek salad, Gyro meat and more. My favourite soup in the world is only there on weekends apparently. That is the Seafood Soup, WOW. I seriously enjoyed the different pieces of seafood that were in this creation that Nick offers weekly. There is limited seating and the people that come to sit at lunch time come prepared for a long lunch break, due to the sometimes lengthy lunch wait times. But, I think that it is WELL WORTH THE WAIT!!! Thanks Nick!!! PROS: Great food absolute consistency!!! CONS: Needs more locations.
