The Baltimore Water Taxi's are one of Baltimore's unique attractions--they have several stops along the harbor, and will shuttle you in between for the nominal cost of an all day pass. It is a great way to get over to Fort McHenry or to Fell's Point from the Inner Harbor--and beyond that, it's a lot of fun in and of itself! A good way to pass the time on a summer day. They also give you a pamphlet of coupons you can use at local businesses to save money on dinner and the like after your day of cruising the harbor is complete.

When visiting Baltimore, do make a point to take a tour of the city via water taxi. The cost for an all-day pass is really cheap, and it gives you a scenic way to get to Ft. McHenry, the Visionary Arts Museum, Canton, and around the Inner Harbor. The cost is less than $10 per person, and transportation almost always includes a narrated tour of sites as your boat floats by. Boat size varies according to where you're traveling, and I'm pretty sure they have buses transporting visitors from the Visionary Art Museum to Ft. McHenry. It's a great and affordable way to tour the city.

Although the Baltimore Water Taxi service has gotten some bad press lately, I have yet to find a comparable way to see all of Baltimore in one day. The price is cheap cheap cheap, considering you get to travel via the boats all day, PLUS they give you a map with a ton of local coupons for free pints and discounted food for places you'll probably float right by. I think this is also THE best way to visit Ft. McHenry. You have to do a bit of transferring from one boat to another direct ferry, but it's so worth it. Nothing beats taking the water taxi at night and getting a one-of-a-kind view of the Inner Harbor!

The Water Taxi at the Baltimore Inner Harbor is a fantasical way to get around downtown. Why fight for parking and feed a meter all day long when you could cruise around in high style in the Water Taxi at the Inner Harbor. It is a great way to move around the city to all the major tourist spots. You can pay one flat fee and ride all day long. Also for you partiers (if you have pregamed and can not drive to Fell's Point -- that is the big nightlife hub of Baltimore) you can take the The Water Taxi at the Inner Harbor out for the night! Just remember to say thank you to you designated driver!

Why sit through traffic while the meter ticks away, wasting away your day when you could be site seeing from the water? The water taxi at the Inner Harbor is an entertaining, relaxing way to 'get around downtown' without stressing you out. You'll have an all day ride to take you from attraction to attraction and avoid parking fees on top of it all. A great way to see the harbor and all it has to offer!

For tourists, the Baltimore Water Taxi is a must-do. The Water Taxi stops at every tourist location in the Inner Harbor area, including the more far-reaching areas like Fells Point and Fort McHenry. It's also a lovely way to see the city from the water. For only eight bucks, you can ride around on the water taxi all day, plus you get a sheet of coupons for local eateries and attractions. Definitely worth it!

If you do not want to walk around downtown but need to get around without a car, the water taxi is the way to go. It is a bit pricey sometimes but it’s a nice ride across the harbor. Unfortunately there was a terrible accident that resulted in death last year on one of the boats. My suggestion is to walk around instead, especially if the weather is nice.
