Adoremus is a Christian Acapella group on the Johns Hopkins University Campus. They started out about 3 -4 years ago and have really progressed in the years since then. They spread their faith and love of God through music and their voices, (forgive me the pun), are heavenly. I have the pleasure of living with one of its members, and she really is blessed with a lot of talent. I have seen them perform and couple times, and their last number always involves the audience. Praising with Adoremus is really an experience not had at other acapella concerts!

Painting pottery is a great activity for all ages. I took my thirteen year old sister as well as my three and four year old neices, and everyone had a great time. There is a wide selection of different sized and shaped pottery to choose from, as well as many shades of paint and different paint brushes. The staff was very helpful, and helped the children with their paint.

This museum has some of the coolest modern art I have ever seen. Everything from a live and working Coney Island replica to face masks painted by mentally disabled people. They change the artwork a lot during the year so be sure to check it out often. The tree outside th eback is filled with pieces of glass which is also real cool. Since it's right next to the inner harbor there are plenty of other places to visit while you are there.

Having a local art gallery to browse (outside of bigger galaries like the Walters or the BMA) is really nice...they have a different type of selection and a different variety of artists.
The Art Gallery of Fells Point displays and sells a collection of pieces from a variety of local artists (from both Maryland and the surrounding area) and their selection not only reflects this area but a broader range of paintings/art pieces as well.
They have shows every month on the first Sunday--I highly recommend checking them out if you are in to art and looking for something local and interesting to check out.

I really dont care for trains, but when I was invited to go to the B&O Railroad Museum I said why not. To my surprise I really had a great time. I was really happy on how much there was for my 2 year old to do there. They have a train ride, a train play ground, and a REAL train ride that goes a mile or so down the track. She cried when it was time to leave. I will be back there for sure!!!
