While it may appear small from the outside, they carry a large inventory in the rear and can equip you for everything from the casual paint a cupboard to the most serious whole house project. The owners are at the counter and you can rely on them for very expert advice on what the best striper, primer, and paint are, as well as tips for those unique jobs. Gregory's computer repair has been great when helping me build computer systems for other people. They always have the parts I need for reasonable prices, even if the parts are discontinued or hard to find. This is quite refreshing considering the problem with Best Buy and Circuit City. Many times I've needed a part that could be found no where else and gone here to find that they have numerous ones. Definitely worth the drive to go to a place that is personal and helpful instead of a large store. Go here for the all around great experience.

I've used Allen & Son at least 3 times for major jobs in the Baltimore area. Their rates are kind, and they show up when they're supposed to.
Anytime I have big jobs in this part of the world, Allen & Son is the company we call on & they've always delivered.
Pros: good rates, they stick to the schedule, they use appropriate manpower for the job

Lehman's Hardware is a tiny, jam-packed hardware store right out of another era. Every aisle is full of hardware STUFF - you name it, they've got it, in a smaller space than you'd imagine could hold it all. The owners and staff are really amazingly helpful (which is great, because no way would you find anything without help!), and the prices beat the big chains hands-down. Parking is limited but usually available.

I tried this outlet store about a week ago. My mother told me to try it for good prices on jeans. Well he was right. The parking lot is very big because it is in a shopping center. This is a warehouse store. There are rows and rows of rack of clothes. They had designer close. All kind top, bottom, coats, everything you could need. I took my daughter there to do her back to school clothes shopping. She got four pairs of jeans all of them were $9.99 each. I could not believe my luck. She also got four tops that were only $4.00 each. I can't believe my luck. I intend to go back again because you can never have enough jeans. The sales people were very nice. You can also try clothes on here. Usually if you find a place with cheap clothes they don't have dressing rooms. I think if you have a Forman Mills in your area you should give it a try. I hope you can save money as well. Give it a try and let me know what you think. Dawn

The Broadview Apartment building has a lot going for it--it's fairly big, so there are many units available most of the time. It has apartments ranging from studios to two bedrooms, although the two bedrooms are fairly hard to get since there are not quite as many of them. It doesn't have much for architectural interest, but it does have an electronic security system and a 24 hr doorperson. Maintenance is good also. And the rents are very reasonable for the area. Overall, a good place to be.
