This retirement community is located walking distance from the ferry docks in downtown Bainbridge. The location is ideal. The exterior is well maintained, but they could use more parking spaces. The signage is impressive, as is the architecture.
Once inside, the atmosphere was pleasing and clean. The dining area is visible from the front door. It is brightly lit and inviting. Once in the dining area, though, it appeared rather cramped. There was not alot of room between tables and chairs.
Service is good and I noticed a genuine concern for helping patrons existed here.

There’s something about Bainbridge Island which can turn even the simplest concept into one worth visiting on each trip to the Island. Accenting their signature colors with pink on occasion, everything is done well and displayed beautifully at Noir & Blanc. Even the gift wrap is charmingly black and white (as expected, of course).

Great spot on the way to get on the ferry. If you are a walk-on passenger or waiting in line in your car, this is a quick stop before getting on the boat. The coffee is great, the service is experienced and friendly. They also serve bagels and cookies, other quick grab and eat items. I would highly recommend it to anyone and they are open in the early commuting hours which makes it a plus!

I like this store since the owners are so community involved and truly help local authors. They hold book signings, take books on consignment, and are genuinely concerned. That is nice.
The store has a nice assortment of books in a pleasant atmosphere. Plenty of lighting and room to maneuver in. There is no 'high pressure' to buy here.
Prices are comparable to other independent bookstores.

Pizza Factory surely isn't the place to get the best pizza in the world, it's ok but a little greasy for my tastes. It is a good place for kids, though and the kids seem to love the pizza, too. They have ample seating and fairly quick delivery. They also have a small salad bar and lunch options.

Books, Bagels and Beans has changed...drop the "books" part, they've remodeled and it's got a whole new feel to it. They've still got good coffee and items to eat and eliminating the books really opened the store up for more comfortable seating.

I like the fact that they were available to us at any time. We had a problem with the toilet at a not so good time and they were. It is a family run business and they provide good service and quick service. Any plumber will be costly but they were not to far off

If this is the only Japanese food on the Island then someone might want to think about opening another one. (someone did) The food was poor quality the service was abysmal and the quantity was ridiculous. I have never had a 12 dollar meal leave me less satisfied. Very poor experience

Not impressed by the store itself. If your looking for homeopathic voodoo this is the place for you. Don't waste your time here as they carry only holistic and alternative medicine products that are severely overpriced. Very few food items carried.
