THis place was much more fun when I was younger - when the video games and gumball machines blinded me from the bad pizza. Very expensive and very not-good. It is, however, probably a good place to still take families or kids for birthday parties. A fun vibe and good service.
Pros: Good for kids and families
Cons: PIZZA! PRICES!

This place fluctuates, sometimes the soup or poultry dishes are perfectly executed, while other times they remind me of congealing Safeway takeout. Not the best ambiance or location, but it is the only place in town so it makes due for that Tuesday night chow mein craving despite its mediocrity.

My dad got the WORST food illness of his life here. Some of the sushi was questionably "waft" (warm and soft), and there didn't seem to be too many patrons in the restaurant - a sure sign that the kitchen is not turning fish as fast as it should, and things are just hanging around. The atmosphere IS very charming, however, but the prices are too high for "questionable" cuisine.

This is a great farmers market. Besides a huge selection of farmers with their fresh produce and herbs, there is a pleasant variety of local artisans selling their wares. It is just fun to go here and check things out.
After you are done here, walk around the area. There is plenty to see and do here.
It is held on Saturdays starting about 9a starting in April.

If you are looking for pricy shoes, this is the place to come. They have sidewalk sales every so often but for the most part their shoes start at $70 and get more $$ from there. They have brands like Teva, Sperry, Keen, Merrell and more...they carry all types of everyday wear type shoes.

I took the ferry across from Seattle to Bainbridge Island last fall to visit Bainbridge Gardens. I had heard so much about the place because of Ann Lovejoy. She is a garden writer that I heard speak at the N.W. Flower and Garden Show in February. She said that she had worked there. It made me want to see it. They do indeed have every thing that a garden center should have. Their selection of plants was good. The gift shop was a lot of fun, lots of unexpected gifts for anyone on your list. The pottery selection was great. I had a nice time browsing through all of the sections of the nursery, it is laid out leisurely with paths taking you all around the many buildings. Their selection of garden art was unique. The ferry ride was beautiful. It was worth the trip!

Dr. Rosenblatt is passionate about your good health. She loves sharing the news about her business and enjoys seeing others improve. Her personality is so pleasant, it is contagious - as is her passion for others' well being. She likes to heping change the world "one spine at a time".
I know her to be community involved and truly pleased to help others. I have seen the genuine pleasure in her eyes upon seeing her patients succeed.
I always end up smiling after talking with her. For that, she deserves a high rating.

If you want to walk on to the ferry, you can just walk off and right onto the main street. There is a scenic walk that is very short and kid-friendly to the main street (or you can follow the commuters up the road).
The diner is good. Nola's is the gourmet restaurant. There are great bakeries, coffee shops, ice cream, bookstores (travel and general), boutiques, a favored knitting store, many art galleries, etc.
It is a really fun way to spend half a day.
If you drive, Bainbridge has great places to walk in the woods or gardens.

They have a wonderful covered driving range that is great to go to hit a few. This public golf course is well maintained and beautiful to see. Prices are typical Bainbridge. This means...they are higher than other places.
The Pro Shop here has a really good variety and service has been 'with a smile' each time I have gone. It is nice to just browse in here and talk to the pro shop staff about golf. They are very knowledgeable and have a passion for the sport that is fun to see.
