Very very fresh, well-prepared sushi and attentive service by chef's wife.
There was live music when we were there. All the tables had been reserved the Friday we ate there, so it must be popular.
Hope to get invited there again!!!! :-)
Pros: quality of sushi, quiet ambience, service

How BI got blessed with such an excellent sushi restaurant, I do not know. We just got lucky!?! Family-run, quiet, with a broad sushi menu and I think 1 chicken offering. Cold and hot sakes (drink the cold). The sushi is impeccably fresh, service unobtrusive, and the prices very very reasonable.
The dragon roll is esp good, an offering I have not had anywhere else.
You will need a reservation so as not to be disappointed; either that or go at 5:30 PM when they open for dinner.
Pros: food quality, ambience, price

An amazing sushi house, with an amazing staff, B. I. Sushi is simply top of the line. The chef goes to considerable lengths to insure the highest quality of his fish, and the waitstaff is promt and knowlegable. They will do any special order that they can, and can normally accomadate large groups as long as adequate notice is provided. I ate there with 10 people, and still the food and service was as good and as quick as if we were only two (I called a week in advance). Really a must try for anyone who loves sushi and the small, family-run restaurant feel! Reservations strongly recommended (a must on weekends).
Pros: Quiet, Promt service, Friendly
Cons: Sometimes crowded, Can be expensive

You got that right! Chef Koji of Osaka, a certified sushi chef on Bainbridge Island (go to L.A. to meet the other one on the West Coast), personally picks each individual slice of the freshest fish on the market to create a gustatory extravaganza. Have the Suzuki Sashimi, Geoduck Sushi or a Salmon Skin Handroll! I've had sushi in NYC, SFO, L.A....This is the bomb! Wasabi?!
Pros: Freshest fish, Great location, Tatami tables
Cons: Ferry traffic, Very busy, Possessive locals
