We went to this vineyard on a Sunday afternoon and the owner gave us a free tour of his vineyard and talked a lot about winemaking. It was really interesting to see a locally owned business at work, and the wine is really good as well. Most bottles were between 10-20 dollars. It's always nice to see the person who makes your food and wine, and this was a really nice experience. If you are taking the ferry, definitely drive on, because the vineyard is far from the ferry dock.

If you are looking for a gift to impress someone, this is the place. Their selection of classy yet quirky items is amazing and the owner and his partner are so friendly. They carry higher end items but there are also a few smaller tickets items for those on a strict budget. Very impressive for sure, a must see.

I punctured a tire on my tractor and needed someone to make a housecall. Mike from Mansker came the same day, fixed the flat and checked the pressure on the other tires. He was very prompt, professional and courteous...although a little pricey but hey I was in a bind!
I highly recommend Mansker.

If you want to walk on to the ferry, you can just walk off and right onto the main street. There is a scenic walk that is very short and kid-friendly to the main street (or you can follow the commuters up the road).
The diner is good. Nola's is the gourmet restaurant. There are great bakeries, coffee shops, ice cream, bookstores (travel and general), boutiques, a favored knitting store, many art galleries, etc.
It is a really fun way to spend half a day.
If you drive, Bainbridge has great places to walk in the woods or gardens.

The trash service these guys provide isn’t too great. They say they will pick up your large trash items, but no they said that the garbage men are to do that, but the garbage man said I had to go to them. The whole thing was a hassle so I just ended up renting a truck and taking it to the dumb myself.

This retirement community is located walking distance from the ferry docks in downtown Bainbridge. The location is ideal. The exterior is well maintained, but they could use more parking spaces. The signage is impressive, as is the architecture.
Once inside, the atmosphere was pleasing and clean. The dining area is visible from the front door. It is brightly lit and inviting. Once in the dining area, though, it appeared rather cramped. There was not alot of room between tables and chairs.
Service is good and I noticed a genuine concern for helping patrons existed here.
