What a convenience it is to pop in for a bag of dog food and grab a steak for yourself at the same time. Where in this town can you get all that including getting a fishing license, notorizing paperwork and a tank of gas all at the same place? I think this place is branded as a little town secret. They have early hours and are kind to all people. So check this place out.

Although it sits on Main Street, Hendricks is on the outskirts of a very poor neighborhood and serves mostly people within walking distance of the store. I believe the owner takes advantage of this situation. The store itself is dirty and not a place I'd want to buy my groceries at. The prices seem higher than a regular grocery store, too.

We used to live across the lake from Hendrick's and I went there because they had the best price on photocopies in the County. Their gas and grocery prices are OUTRAGEOUS so I'm not sure why people shop here. He will run a tab for some local people so that may be one reason. There is a great bait and tackle shop in the back, which may be another reason. I have been in there to buy a fishing license, worms, crickets and a couple lures (on sale) for Christmas stocking stuffers but both Big Lots and Wal*Mart have better prices on those. When Hendrick's raised and reraised the price of photocopies and they became less at several places in the County, I usually went to Office Supply for copies. Now that I have a printer which also makes photocopies, I just make them at home and don't have to go anywhere.
