Turner Furniture is conveniently located on N. Highway 27 just north of Sebring in Avon Park.
Make sure you turn on the access road to get into the area.
I recently purchased a rattan living room set.
Though a bit pricier than other local stores, the quality makes it worth it.
Turner offers delivery for a fee or you are welcome to load and take your furniture home with you.
I opted for delivery service and they delivered in a timely manner.
I recommend this store for quality furniture and accessories.

My family has been buying cars and trucks from Jarrett Ford for almost 20 years. One of my stepbrothers even made the three-hour drive from Miami to buy his fleet of work vans here because the sales department gave him such an exceptional deal.

What a convenience it is to pop in for a bag of dog food and grab a steak for yourself at the same time. Where in this town can you get all that including getting a fishing license, notorizing paperwork and a tank of gas all at the same place? I think this place is branded as a little town secret. They have early hours and are kind to all people. So check this place out.

When my mother died, I was the one who was responsible for making all the decisions for her arrangements. It was a difficult time for me emotionally and financially. Mr. Nelson was very helpful and gently guided me through the decisions I needed to make at that time. Even though that was 12 years ago, I still believe Mr. Nelson was honest and ethical in the way he treated me. He could easily have steered me into choosing things I didn't need and therefore making more money for himself but he didn't. He helped me make low-cost choices which fit my needs.

When my husband and I sold one house and bought another, we had to live in an apartment for a while. We had to put quite a bit of stuff in storage while we lived in smaller quarters. 1st Security Self Storage seems quite secure - the manager lives on premises, there is a very tall fence around the property and everyone has to have a pass code to enter. Our only problem was that we did have some rat and bug damage.

My husband and I live in an old historic home. It's always in need of repair and we are always in need of supplies. Before our local Home Depot was built, Scotty's was Bagwell's only competition. Now that Scotty's is gone, Home Depot is their only competition. Bagwell has been able to handle the competition of both businesses. Neither of the national companies has ever come close to the personal service Bagwell gives. They have always been able to give accurate answers to any question we've ever asked. They stand behind their products. They deliver for free. And their prices often meet or beat Home Depot's.

We've used Leonard's Locks Safes & Automatic Doors for various jobs throughout the last 12 to 15 years. We've had keys made at their shop and have never had a problem with them working (unlike Wal-Mart's key service). We've also had door knobs and hardware installed by Leonard's and have never had a problem with any of those working, either. I would highly recommend Leonard's Locks Safes & Automatic Doors.

My late husband had several items embroidered at Designer's Top Shop. They have a nice little shop in downtown Avon Park not too far off Main Street. They made a couple of embroidered patches and baseball caps for my husband. The woman who owns the shop is very helpful in designing the item you're interested in and her work is very good, but their turn around time has always taken longer than first promised.
Designer's Top Shop sells shirts, caps, jackets, shorts and a few other items in their store (although their prices seem high to me). They will either screen print or embroider a design on these items or something you've brought in.

Although not a super store like Wal-Mart, Federal Discount does have some prices which are comparable and even a little less. You've really got to know your prices and compare, though, or you will probably overpay. Federal Discount has some items which Wal-Mart does not stock. Federal Discount is much easier to get in and out of than Wal-Mart.
