You may find some lower prices, but you will not get the family service you get from Matt and his dad. They are so experienced it all department of there business, and I would recommend them to anyone. They will take care of you beyond your expectation. Chuck

Once housed next to Hendricks Market, Economy Auto Parts now owns their own building a few doors west. I think their prices are higher than Discount Auto, which is out on US 27, but they are a friendly group and are usually willing to help you solve your car problems. At times, they will even walk out to the parking lot with you, look at your car, help replace a part and discuss what ails your vehicle.

Once housed next to Hendricks Market, Economy Auto Parts now owns their own building a few doors west. I think their prices are higher than Discount Auto, which is out on US 27, but they are a friendly group and are usually willing to help you solve your car problems. At times, they will even walk out to the parking lot with you, look at your car, help replace a part and discuss what ails your vehicle.

My first complaint with NAPA Auto Parts is the choice of colors they painted their building. Our town has a Main Street program and is trying to improve the look of our downtown area. There is a paint color code the stores were supposed to follow, however, NAPA decided they would not stick to those colors and painted their building a hideous cobalt blue and bright yellow. Before Avon Park adopted the Main Street program, NAPA's building had been painted in understated colors. Since NAPA cares so little about the community to whom they are selling, I will no longer do business with NAPA. I also feel NAPA's prices are higher than Advanced Discount Auto Parts, which is a little farther from home. I choose Advanced Discount Auto Parts, though, because I think their prices are lower and their service is more personal.

In the 15 years prior to that, the building had been painted in understated colors. Since they care so little about the community in which they are dealing, I will no longer do business with NAPA. Since The Service Center closed, Sterling's Lawn & Garden is one of the few independently owned, legitimate lawnmower companies in town. There are several individuals working out of their homes who say they'll repair your lawnmower and my husband has tried working with a couple of them but has never received anything but problems in return. One gentleman left our disassembled lawnmower sitting outside unprotected for four months (during three hurricanes) until it rusted so badly we had to buy another lawnmower. Sterling's sells mowers as well as parts and supplies for lawn mowers. They also sell and service Husqvarna products.
