Fabadesiacs is one of the best gourmet restaurants around and the presentation is as amazing to the eyes as the taste of the food is to your tongue. They are slightly pricey, but completely worth the price with their selection of delicious gourmet creations. This is unlike anything you’ve ever had, and you’ll want to make it a regular on your list of favorite Connecticut restaurants.

Little Saku's chefs are adept at the hibachi tradition of entertaining guests with dry humor and culinary tricks while they cook. It is always amusing to those who gather close to watch them twirl spatulas, flip eggshells into their hats, and set onion volcanoes aflame.
The Hibachi area is is a good entertaining meal with nice selection,.
Little Saku's two hibachi tables are out in the open, providing the experience of meals served hot off the grill,
My Family has sampled the hibachi steak, shrimp, lobster and scallops and found them all to be flavorful and tender. All hibachi entrees are served with soup, salad, fried rice and vegetables.
They also serve tempura and Sushi for an alternative.

The mostly fish menu is very satisfying. I love the award-winning crabcake, the buttery escargot and the gutsy Sea Bass Calabrese and Lobster Fra Diavolo.
Meatlovers can also order some of the cuts that have made the Waterbury steakhouse such a draw for years. The service is smart and discerning and there are all the little touches and perks that make up what Vacalebre touts as "five star" service in his ads. An enthusiastic supporter of Connecticut's restaurant industry, he brings commendable energy to all of his restaurants.

More
This Taste of India excels at vegetarian dishes. Too many restaurants treat vegetarian dishes as the stepchildren of the menu. Here, the vegetarian dishes are among the best we sample. The Malai Kofta are buoyant, feathery balls of minced vegetables. Perfectly cooked and delicately shaped, these dumplings sit half-submerged in a cream sauce. Though mild, the sauce is subtly flavored by the deft use of spices. The sauce's appealingly velvety texture is a nice foil to the nubbly vegetable balls. I'm wowed by the saag paneer. This classic dish of stewed spinach strewn with tiles of homemade farmer's cheese is excellent. The flavor is bright, as is the color, and you come away with a sense the dish was just made and not kept sitting in a steam tray. I love the creaminess of the spinach and the firm bite of the tofu-like cheese.
Desserts are uneven. The gulab jamun or fried cheese balls are some of the best ever. Feathery-light, delicately textured, these balls arrive warm and impregnated with sweet syrup. Contrast this to the grayish rice pudding known as kheer. It looks like gruel. The ras malai are snowy white patties of cheese that have a texture and a bracing quality similar to feta cheese. A sweet cream sauce softens and soothes the dessert. The pistachio ice cream is disappointingly watery.
Service at Taste of India is friendly to the point of being playful. That's nice. What's equally important is having some professional snap behind the smile. The pace of the kitchen and dining room is wobbly on a weeknight. On a busy Saturday, forget it.

Do you have long, layered hair? If so, then Ikons may be for you. I, however, with my short, unlaired bob have been treated with rudeness. After hearing glowing testimonials from existing customers, I entered Ikons hopefully. I walked in and asked to make an appointment, but the receptionist completely ignored me. Thinking it was a fluke, I tried again the next day, and was again greeted with silence. It seems that Ikon offed a startingly mixed message. Existing customers adore it, but new customers are treated with contempt. Gladly, this kind of place can't stay in business forever.

My Wife loves the pulled-pork which is a large pile of tender shredded meat dressed in a sweet sauce.
Platters have anice series of choice sides - coleslaw, mashed potatoes, baked beans, dirty rice or spicy Cajun fries.
Serving sizes are generous.

My husband and I have always been big fans of the Puerto Vallarta in West Harford Center, but it seems since they have been opening up all over Hartford County, their food and service have gone down hill. I recently went to the Avon restaurant for lunch and we ordered appetizers. My water glass had a gross chunk of food on it and it wouldn't have been a big deal to get a new glass if the waiter decided to come to our table. After our order was placed we never saw him again until he brought the check over. Someone from the kitchen brought out the food to our table. I thought the food was decent, it is better than the local taco bell, but it isn't impressive mexican cuisine. I felt the service was lacking and rushed. Once we got the check, we were practically being pushed out the door. I am disappointed, because we loved the West Harford restuarant so much, we were psyched when the Avon restaurant opened. I would not recommend this restaurant if you want good mexican food or good service.

Valley Music is a decent source for music related items, but has no characteristics that place it above the rest. The prices are high and the selection is small. George, the owner of Valley Music, knows his stuff. He does, however, have an irritating tendency to talk for long periods of time. Valley Music is not the place to shop if you wish for a speedy transaction. The instrument repair service is severely lacking. The job completed and the customer is charged without any information given on what was actually done to the instrument. I had one experience with a broken clarinet. I knew some pads needed replacing and so I asked for it to be fixed. The small job Cost me over $70, despite the fact that the problem continued to display itself. When I questioned what repairs were done, I was not given a straightforward answer.

Pepperoni's Pizza is an above-average pizza take-out place, but with one major and damaging flaw. Pepperoni's is run by a group of friendly individuals who are conciderate and easy to deal with. Most of the time, thier food is excellent. My personal favorites are the cheese pizzas, the buffalo wings, and the curly fries. The downside, however, is an inconsistancy in the taste. Sometimes, the wings are spicy, other times mild. Sometimes the pizza is burnt, other times it is doughy. It is for this reason that I do not recommend Pepperoni's Pizza. If you feel like gambling, however, then please make an order.
