Fresh food, clean environment and always delicious meals. Oceanside Seafood is the place to go with your family, friends night out or just for two. Friendly service and an extensive menu to please any appetite or seafood craving. The soups are excellent and you can surely taste the fresh ingredients....Oceanside is the place to go when looking for good seafood down the shore. Enjoy the BYOB setting - always a great time.

Nemo's is a convenient Italian/pizza place in Avalon. For eating in or taking out, it probably offers the best "fast" Italian food on the island. Nemo's also offers delivery, and will even deliver food directly to the beach. The dining in area is small, but the wait staff is attentice to customers and the overall presentation is simple yet effective. Portions of food are generous on main courses, but a little less so on some sides. The house salads need more vegetables and/or better lettuce. The pizza is very good and not overly greasy. Sandwiches utilize fresh ingredients. Pasta is not overcooked and the sauce is plain but decent. The value is wonderful. It is very easy to get a complete Italian dinner for $10 or less per person here. Unfortunately, Nemo's does not accept credit cards (which is not too unusual for places here). That is inconvenient, and needs to be changed. Still, Nemo's offers great value.

This is a place you must stop at after a long day after the beach. They have great selections of exotic pizzas and other selections of food like seafood and comfort foods. The staff is very friendly and the outdoor patio is just like your sitting in someones backyard. This is must on your next trip to Avalon.

The Paper Peddler serves its purpose best as a place to pick up daily local and national newspapers as well as magazines. The shop also sells lottery tickets and has a decent selection of mostly new paperback and hardback books. The limited space available means that the book selection is marginal at best, and one should not go here expecting to find less-popular releases. As many seashore shops do, this store sells some vacation essentials like beach games and t-shirts. The staff could be more friendly and usually seems to be unwilling to help customers do much besides check out. Prices ar egenerally set at retail with no discounts on most books. There are some children's books, but be careful with kids because they keep adult magazines at the top row of the magazine racks (out of reach but not necessarily out of sight of small children).

this place is very good. It is open year round which is nice if you are at the shore off season. It is very much like the Library. The food is made fresh and i really enjoy the salad bar. It is a karker - mor intimate atmosphere that most places at the shore.

Amazing food, great sauces. Terrific specials. I dream of the almond cream sauce! The restaurant is in a hotel, and has big soft booths. Turns into a nightclub after dinner hours. Wonderful place.

Via Mare is a beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere and friendly service who are also very fast from my experience. The food was delicious and it did not put a huge dent in my wallet. I would highly recommend this place for fans of authentic Italian food.
