If you're anything like me - you love your hair cuts and color with Miranda but maybe not love the salon experience at 505.
Good news - Miranda has moved to a cute, new salon in Northwest Austin. I've been to see her and enjoyed the same great hair experience without all the salon drama.
Skye Salon & Boutique

My rating is certainly based on Miranda and her professional abilities - not my experience with Salon 505!

The Osis is the place you want to be if you are looking for a magnificent sunset! At sunset the bell rings and the crowd cheers. It is a very unique and impressive atmoshere on lake travis! Overlooking the lake and the many boaters, great for kids too! Drinks are good food ok, but worth every bit of the travel to lake travis. If you go no where else go here!
Pros: Awesome Sunset, Great Ambience!
Cons: OK Food

Mars is simply outstanding! My girlfriend and I love to go there. I have never had anything less than an exceptional experience there, dating back to the old location by campus. Zen the bartender and Teddy the manager always go out of their way to ensure our needs are met. I like the mixed grill; the different meats (usually duck, beef, and pork, but last time I had the salmon) are always perfectly and exquisitely cooked. The beef tenderloin is my girlfriend's favorite, and we agree that it is the best steak available in town!
Pros: Great food and service

Everyone seems to love going to the Oasis, a major spot to hang out in Austin. I decided to see what everyone was raving about. I must say, the scenery is absolutely gorgeous. They have (had) an insane number of decks, all of which are right on Lake Travis. It's beautiful scenery. The food, however, left much to be desired. Maybe I didn't order the right thing, but I thought the dish I had was dry, bland, and blah. I would never go back for the food, but would for the scenery.

My boyfriend made me go to see the Healer that had Snoopy on her magnetic card. Snoopy kept appearing on the fridge saying "Healthy people are cool!" My boyfriend called the office twice and finally just put me in the car and took me, which even that had a twist because we went to the "old" address and not the hip, funner and convenient location at the Triangle. This initial ease of access and time flexibility all just made this Life Changing experience all the more possible. I was suffering from migranes, completely dehabilitating light and sound sensitivity, and my hip was causing tremendous, constant pain. My body felt "broken" and I didn't realize the extent of the damange and the effect on my Quality of Life, truly.
The extreme hip displacment was what brought me in, and after the NO COST consultation and digital xray she informed me that my neck was way out of alignment as well and contributing to much of these problems and difficulties, including blurred vision, sleeplessness, painful joints, and a variety of other issues that are now slowly leaving my life.
At first it was a little scary, but after every visit the results were immediate and amazing. My pain is greatly diminished, my life and attitude feel better, I handle stress better without so much pain, and I am not even through my entire treatment yet.
Walking into this office has given me a vision of achieving a pain free life. The offices itself feels like a place of Healing. I look forward to my treatments and my visits. Mary Beth and Kim both radiate with welcoming energy. It immediately made me want to improve my life in every other area. Love them!
I Highley recommend to anyone in pain, Please, go see Dr. Mary beth Eastwood. You can change your life with her help!

I have triplets that have been at the CCOA for two years. We started them there as 18 month olds part time so that they would be more socialized. The curiculum at the CCOA is awesome I am so impressed with how much they have learned. I feel like the CCOA is really preparing them for real school more importantly kindergarten. They have such a good time everyday and for the price its well worth it. We wouldn't put them anywhere else

This is truly one of my top 5 restaurants in any city I have been in. The food is spectacular, the location is awesome, the drinks are fantastic and the atmosphere is fun. Plus its a good place to buy a "Keep Austin Weird" t-shirt. You really can't go wrong with the food here, every dish I have had is good. If you are a fajita person, then you can't go wrong here, and they have several different kinds that are unique. The drinks are excellent, and I would recommend the Texas Martini. Where this restaurant shines though is its deck that extends over Lake Austin. Its great for lunch when you can see the full lake, but its even better at night when you can watch the sun go down, and see the lights across the lake at night. It makes for an ideal setting for a meal. The deck is heated so it is good year round and you don't have to worry about getting cold while you are on it. Parking is a little tricky, but there is a large lot up the hill and across the street. There is a little shuttle that is available for those that fear they can't take the hill. If you are visiting Austin then you would be best served adding this restaurant to your list of stops.
Pros: Great Food, Location, and Drinks
Cons: Parking

If you go to dine at sushi japon expect to eat a delicious meal. Everything is well prepared. The service is wonderful and everyone is friendly and attentive. It is a great place to bring family & friends. Both the sushi and the habachi grill foods are out of site or should I say out of this world!
Pros: food and service
