I can't tell how much fun it was to find my gown, how great the service was, how wonderful my consultant was, how unique the selection of gowns they had and the great price. If you're still looking for your gown, go there first or last. You'll find your dress...and thank me for it. These ladies that work there really know what they're doing and earn every penny of it. I bought my wedding gown from Balina Bridal in Austin and all my friends were right. Not only they have the best service but the gowns they have no other store has I'm so happy I went there. I should have gone there first and saved myself all the pain of shopping in all these other mediocre bridal stores. Just go to Balina

Balina is one of 6 bridal stores I recently visited in Austin. Looking, of course, for a the perfect wedding gown. After the treatment I received at Balina, I would *never* consider purchasing a dress from them, nor recommend the store to another person. My friends, who accompanied me to help me find my dress, were rudely told not to touch the wedding dresses. I was also told that friends-of-the-bride were not allowed to pick dresses for the bride. After selecting several dresses to try on, the staff of the store told me I could not continue looking at more dresses, and that I already had too many to try on. I was asked my budget, and told I could not try on dresses outside of my budget. The consultant who helped me was inefficient, and lacked knowledge of the products. She could not, for example, tell me the materials that dresses were made out of. After 45 minutes, my consultant told me her next appointment was in, and that if I wanted to try on anything else I would have to schedule another appointment at a later time. My overall experience at Balina Bridal was horrific. These are people with huge egos, terrible customer service skills, poor knowledge base, and shameful manners. Pros: None. Same dresses elsewhere! Cons: Poor service, unkempt bathroom, small changing rooms, rude!

Simply Stunning!! If you have not yet visited Balina Bridal salon, you definitely should. There truly is no other experience like it in Austin. Where else could you possibly see verity of stunning gowns of impeccable quality and construction And meet with and discuss your gown with the designer herself? Where else does the designer actually making your gown will take pictures with you and autograph her catalog for you? Great experience, I met with the designer Jane Wang (www.janewangny.com) at Balina Bridal, her design's are truly spectacular. You will never be able to come close to the wonderful service and joyful appointment that you will receive at Balina Bridal. Simply is the best bridal salon!!

Beautiful salon. All the dresses are lovely! Had a great experience here. This place was the first salon I visited to try on dresses. I was lured all the way from Dallas by Pronovias’ trunk show. The sales lady first asked me a lot of questions about the type of wedding I was going to have, as well as my style to find out which designer might suit me the best. I didn't find anything on sale (although you can get a fantastic deal if you're lucky), but found a gorgeous Jane Wang dress that I loved, although it was at the outer limits of what I was willing to pay for THE dress. I decided to shop around a bit more and check out some other designers, but I really liked the ambiance, the dresses, the service and the overall experience. This week I drove back to Austin and back to Balina Bridal, looked at some Demetrios gowns but ended up ordering THE dress.

I went shopping for my bridal gown and found the best place ever! The ladies were fun and nice to talk to. I had spent all day trying on gowns and wasn't sure at first if I would find anything, to my surprise I ended up liking four diferent wedding dresses at Balina Bridal! I recommend Balina Bridal highly to any bride that is looking for real quality and good old fashion customer service. It's hard to find that type of help and service anywhere (and I've been all over the place). They really bent over backwards to make me feel good and help me find a gown that I felt great in ( I have the JLo thing going on). My wedding is coming up on the 29th of this month and I think I'm going to miss all my 'ladies' at Balina Bridal since I'm not going to be coming in for more fittings any more ; ) you guys are truly the best! Thank you, thank you, thank you for making this hard to please gal soooo happy on her wedding day! Loraine

The dresses here are designer rip-offs. The names of most of them are made-up brands that are copies of designers like Pronovia. This may not always be a bad thing, but in this case, the prices are the same as if it were the real designer. Also, if you find a dress you love, you don't have the opportunity to price-shop because the brand name is made up. Plus, the oddest thing is that they don't let you choose from dresses on the floor. You tell them the style of dress you are looking for and they go to the back to find several options you might like. I would only use this store as a last minute resort if you haven't found your perfect wedding dress elsewhere.
