We decided to sell our house, long story short we have a contract on it and the inspection was on a Friday. For whatever reason the A/C did not work that Friday night, after the inspector was there during the day. Worried that we would now lose a couple of grand on the sale of our home I did a google for a reputable company with good reviews. Texas A/C immediately caught my eye after reading several reviews and I called them the next Monday morning. Thomas came by and spent about an hour, looking at the condensor in the back yard and also at the furnace in the attic.
Gave me a quote for 3 things, all of which he could not guarantee was the reason why the only the fan unit was working and blowing warm air.
1) 4 ton gas furnace $1489
2) Control module $423
3) Fan Control Center $289 (if in stock)
Paid him $65 for the service call and told him goodbye.

Poor customer service. I emailed several times and never received a response only to call several days later and be told in a very rude fashion that they didn't have any availability for the next 2 weeks. Wow, I don't think I would rely on them for 24 hour service!
