Terra Toys has been around for as long as I can remember I can remember shopping there almost 10 years ago when they were located off Congress. The one positive that has always kept me coming back to this toy store is that I have always enjoyed their selection of toys for all ages and genders. I have had a lot of luck finding unique and hard to find toys that I was purchasing as gifts. I noticed in my last visit, which was awhile ago, that they had some items that I had never seen in the big retail or chain stores. This makes gift giving so much easier since you do not always know what a child may already have. I found that the prices were extremely reasonable and I am so happy that their new store which is located across from Northcross Mall is closer to my house.

This is a great toy store to find gifts for anyone, but especially for kids. They have a huge selection of creative play toys, train sets, Playmobil, and quality European toys for babies and older kids. Fun stuff for grown ups too. Don't miss the selection of books and stuffed animals at the back of the store. The clothes and shoes are adorable but pricey. They even pay kids of all ages to decorate their bags for them!

This is the greatest toy store. We bring the kids here just to "window shop" and they have a great time. An adorable selection of clothing, toys from the 1900s to current day. Lots of things to inspire the imagination. Selection is out of this world. And the staff is really sweet.

I liked it when this store was on South Congress, but parking was a true nightmare! Their new store at Anderson & Burnet is awesome! No parking issues and it is BIG! They have a great assortment of toys, but they are priced moderately high. The staff is always super nice and very helpful. We searched at music stores everywhere to find a child's guitar for my daughter and ended up finding one here for under $75, and it is top quality. They also have a great little boutique selection of children's clothes, but they are extremely pricey. Beautiful, but very expensive!

This place is awesome. They have huge selection of educational and hard to find toys. They also carry a clothing line, a little on the pricey side but would make great shower and birthday gifts. Every time we visit this store I have to give my daughter a budget and time limit to work with otherwise we’d be there all day and finally leave with the entire store. They carry the groovy girls and Italian charm bracelets that are really in right now with young girls.

They have the coolest clothes, baby slings, wooden toys, Playskool toys, musical toys, and ride on toys. They also have a great retro gum ball machine that helps to bribe your kids with if they leave the store.

Terra Toys is an Austin Tradition. They have hard to find and unique toys for the Austin market. The store is great to get toys that kids will play with for years to come, and that won't break. I love to visit Terra Toys for gifts. The recievers of the gifts always love what they get, and I don't worry that it will be a gift they don't like or that they already have one. They can usually make special orders for you as well. GO in an take a look around!

Terra toys is another Austin Tradition. This is what a toy store should be and use to be. You not only get a bit of the commercialized toys but they offer so many imagination toys, educational toys and items for outdoors. The store is divided into sections making it easy to target exactly what you are looking for. Most items are available to touch and try and the staff at Terra toys go out of their way to help you and make sure you find everything you need. I love this place and my kids love it too!

This is a great place to unlease the child in all of us. I went here and was wishing i was a kid again so that I would have an excuse to play with all of this (not that you have to be a child to enjoy the toys) there is something for all ages. In addition you must try the gumball machine, it is absolute fantastic. The employees at the store are super nice and the prices are good. Overall I really liked this place.

This is a great store to go to if you are tired of seeing the same old toys. They have the classic toys, as well as some new toys. Many of the toys in this store are hard to find items. It is so fun to shop in Terra Toys because it takes me back to my childhood which was a simpler time for kids.
