You are guaranteed to walk out of their remembering Austin and having a good time.

I love watching stand up comedians on TV and Cap City Comedy Club gives you the chance to see your favorite comedians live and in person. They have shows from famous comedians as well as local talent. Sunday night is open mic night so you can come try your hand at being funny. It is $9 to get in with a 2 drink minimum, making it about the cost of going to a movie and ordering a drink and popcorn

Everytime I go to Zachary Scott Theater it's like a mini broadway! The place is old and small with a hometown flair, but the shows are top quality! The last time I went, I saw Stephen King's MISERY and I was blown away by the actors. I now take all out of town guests for a special event that they could only see in the much larger theaters. It's very affordable which makes it even better to get some culture in your life. Great for the whole family.

It seems like we always remember this place when we have exhausted all other ideas of things to do at night. And everytime it's mentioned, lightbulbs go off and everyone is excited to go. I've seen some really funny comedy acts here. I've also seen a few duds. It just depends on the night. But for the cheap cover, it doesn't matter. It's an affordable night on the town with live entertainment. Can't beat that!

I took tap dance lessons at Tapestry and was impressed. The quality of instruction was absolutely fabulous. I had no background in dance, yet they could teach me. The instructors are very talented and knowledgeable. I was very satisfied. I think Tapestry has outgrown its facility, however. It was very crowded and you had to walk through another class to get to the tap class.

'A Ride with Bob: The Life and Music of Bob Wills' to its 2005-06 season. The musical about the man known as the King of Western Swing, charmed audiences and critics in March when it played just six shows at the State Theater. Starring the always well-exposed musician Ray Benson and his band Asleep At the Wheel, "A Ride with Bob" will stop in Hogg Auditorium, Oct. 28-29. I personally go to these alot and I plan to go to this.

I came here to see Aladdin. It was a great show, and although i am just a teenager so my judgement might be flawed.. this would be a great place to take your family, or children to go see on a saturday morning. Much better than sitting at home on the weekends watching cartoons. Just slightly south of the university campus.
