This Whole Foods on Research lacks in many areas, but you can still find lots of good organic stuff there. They have a nice wine and cheese section, but I am always a little bummed at their produce section. I wish it were larger. The downtown WFs is definitely much more impressive, but it's nice to have a little WF in suburbia!

Whole Foods has been my grocery store of choice for years. Although you can find some of the items elsewhere, you can't beat the selection here, particularly when it comes to vitamins and supplements. The employees have always been very helpful and willing to offer advice and guidance when needed. And I love being able to fill up sacks of granola, fruits, seeds, etc., to the weight (and price) of my choosing.

Yes, Whole foods can be a bit pricier than Central Market or HEB, but NOWHERE else in Austin can you find a grocery where you can be confident that everything you are buying is all natural with no added chemicals, preservatives, etc. They just don't allow it at WF. The employees are friendly, customer service is a priority, and WF is an generally very pleasant place to shop. Be sure to visit their pre-made foods case. There are so many yummy meals to choose from!

Everytime I have ventured to Whole Foods, the attendants have been so chirpy and professional. They will walk right up to you without you asking and make sure you find what you want and need. Their fresh produce is a delight to the senses. It's refreshing to see products that are free from pesticides and hormone-treatment. The only drawback...the exorbitant prices. Fresher, healthier food shouldn't cost more! It should be more expensive to buy chemically-processed foods laden with preservatives and artificial ingredients. Hopefully more people will buy organic to bring down the prices someday.
