Very Impressed 1/25/2009

I just wanted to get on here and sing the praises of Once Upon a Child and their very friendly staff. Every single time i walk through the door i am greeted with a smile from one of the employees. No you won't get rich from selling your used childrens items to them...but hey any money i can get from something my two children have used sounds like a great deal to me! I hope they stay in buisness for years to come! more

Not Impressed 1/2/2009

I went to this store and was sorely disappointed. The store is clean but the staff was very rude. In fact they didn't even speak to me. After being in the store for 15 minutes, without a greeting or 'how do you do?' I left and will never go again. more

Once Upon A Child 4/14/2006

As a mother trying to find nice quality childrens clothing at good prices this is a good place to look. If you are trying to sell your stuff to them do not expect to get rich on your stuff though. They buy for pennies. I have found that they have a wide selection of clothing for girls each time that I have visited although as most resale shops boys stuff is slim pickings. The racks were very organized and neat. I liked that the clothing racks was easy to look through and were separated by gender,sizes, and organized by colors! The prices for some of the upscale clothing was great. more

Bargain shopping 11/28/2005

I do like to come here to do some bargain shopping for my one year old. I am always pleased what I find at this store, and like the location. They have bigger items, like strollers, cribs, etc. but they do not sell car seats. They also used to sell maternity clothes here, but stopped selling maternity at the north store over 2 years ago. I don't sell my kids clothes here, only because I don't think I get a fair price. more

Not so friendly staff - ok selection 9/6/2005

I have shopped at Once Upon a Child several times for my then 2 year old son, and the selection for boys was very limited. The infant/toddler girls selection was pretty good. As for the bigger items such as strollers and other baby items, the prices seemed to be very reasonable. I tried several times to sell my son's clothes and toys to them only to be turned down. Even Gymboree brands they turned down (no stains or defects on the clothing). The staff made me feel that my things weren't good enough for their store. Haven't gone there in a couple of years and really don't plan to. more

Children's Resale Clothes, Toys, Furniture 8/18/2005

This store buys barely used baby or children's toys, clothing, furniture, and shoes. You bring these items, the clerks take them and then give you the price they will pay for them. The estimate may take hour or more. Most people leave and return. They have a boxed in area for children to play. more

Big Store, ok selection 8/5/2005

Once Upon a Child has a large selection of resale children's clothes. The store is clea, but the store is very picky in what they will buy, and the quality of the clothes that they do sell is not that great. Their prices are also a bit steep for resale items. more

Great place to buy used kids stuff 7/31/2005

This is a great place to buy infant to toddler clothes, toys, or books. If you are looking to trade in your used items, this is not the best place. They are very picky, and don't give you much for what they do accept. The staff is nice. You will find great buys, and the store is always clean and organized. more
