I was heartbroken when Habana on S. Congress burned down but it's great to see they're back! The new location is fantastic with one of the best outside seating areas in Austin. If you've never tried Cuban food Habana should be your first and last stop. The pork (which seems to be in about half the dishes here) is fantastic and my favorite item is the Cuban Empanada. Flaky pastry filled with pork, ham, and swiss cheese covering anything. My friend Tito picks it up and eats it "hamburger style" but it's okay if you use a knife and fork. Don't forget to save room for the best Tres Leches cake in Austin!
