The burgers at Culvers are ok. I've had better, but I've definately had worse. I can't decide whether I like their buns on the burgers or not. The rest of their food is decent but by no means spectacular. Their prices are significantly higher than other burger places in town so I'm not sure why they always seem to be busy.

Culver's has this weird thing where the food is more expensive than other hamburger joints, the setup in the restaurant is inconvenient, and the fries are not that great. But I keep going back. Why? The hamburger buns are really good, like the best buns I've ever had on a hamburger. I also like the custard and the Culver's root beer. The menu is pretty hard for me to read sometimes, and they never give me a chance to read it. But those buns...

The best? I think so. The burgers are very good. The fries aren't my favorite. The best part is the service. You order your burger and get a table number. They bring out your food and there's usually someone coming around to check and see if you need napkins or a peppermint.
It's a little more expensive than the other chains, but it's worth it to me.
They also have "frozen custard", which is a premium ice cream made daily. There's always vanilla and chocolate and a flavor of the day which is also listed outside on their marquee.
