If you have never been paintballing you should defiantly set aside an afternoon and go give it a try, and Texas Paintball is just the place to do it. I have to say at first I was skeptical, but once you are out there it is so fun. You can come with a group or by yourself, and they offer ten exciting fields. If you don't have any equipment don't worry you can rent or buy it here.

When I first heard about this place, I couldn't understand what was so great about a paved circular path. But once you arrive here, you realize it's benefits. You can ride your bike or rollerblade only with other bikers and rollerbladers! There's no walkers, no dogs, no cars, and the pavement is in great shape. There are no cracks, you get your fair share of uphill and downhill stretches, and there is one quite challenging climb on one end. So put on your helmut and get out here. It's the best place to exercise on wheels in all of Austin. Oh, and did I mention it's completely free?

The Austin Angler is a great place to get good quality fly fishing gear. the people are very knowledgeable, courteous, and ready and willing to help. If you need to get some good quality fly gear they always seem to have what you need. They also have great books on the subject and most people there are good resources for the sport. They can also give good advice on where to go!

I rarely feel the need to write a review about a place, but I had to in this scenario. As someone who is trying to figure out if cycling and triathlons is something they want to do, the people at Southwest Cyclesport were perfect. Extremely knowledgeable and gave me plenty of options, but did not try to make decisions for me. They also do a wonderful job of finding out what you are trying to spend and they keep you under your budget. This is the place to go for any and all questions that concern cycling.
Pros: Everything
Cons: A drive to get out from within Austin, but completely worth it.

After being out ot the saddle for 10 years, I made a list of all the bike stores in town and set out on a Trek (hahah...Trek?...no?...sigh) to find a new bike. I really did visit every one (much to my wife's tested patience) and not one of them matched Spin City for dedicated customer service. Eric and Mark really care about their customers and go that extra mile to ensure that you're happy in and out of the shop. Multiple store visits with patient and friendly staff, follow-up calls and emails all made me enjoy my experience more than any I've had in retail...ever. I've never felt compelled to write a review about any shopping experience, but this store deserves your custom. I've found my local bike shop and will be a loyal customer as long as these guys are in charge. Even though they have a smaller store and smaller range of bikes and accessories than some stores Spin City is well worth your visit and your custom.
Pros: Customer Service. Advice. Quality products.
Cons: Smaller range of bikes - BUT - a willingness to get you what you need.
