I also like their plant sales which they hold several times per year. This park is a great place to go for a picnic, or to take the dogs. Truly the best park in Austin.

Zilker is a beautiful park. It is near Lake Austin. There are huge space in the park. Many trees and flowers. You can enjoying walking in the park during the daytime. There are many activities held in Zilker park, like food festival, music festival. A good place to go during the weekend. The only complaint is they charge $5 for parking, not free! When there is an activity, the traffice is jammed!

Zilker is fantastic. It has so much to offer, and it's beautiful too. There's lots of hike and bike trails, and it's a good place to play soccer or disc golf. They have special events all the time, like Kite Day, the Austin City Limits Fest, and especially, the Walk Of Lights at Christmas, which is one of my favorite holiday traditions. You can find all kinds of people here enjoying the nature, and many groups meet here as well.

People often go there to play all kinds of sports. Also, it holds Austin City Limits Music Festival every year. Dont forget the Moonlight Tower in the park.

In the summer, Zilker puts on the best free entertainment in the form of their summer musical. Bring a blanket, chairs and some food and enjoy broadway productions for FREE! can't beat that! Zilker is a superb gift to the people of austin. Just a wonderful place to enjoy a beautiful day. We threw a bastille day party there once-- complete with croquet. lots of space and lots of parking (which depending on the day costs money)

Lots of people running or jogging in the Zilker Park, it is a good and friendly place. After my moving, I seldom go there because of the distance, but I would like to go to there in the weekend.

Zilker Park has a lot to offer--from bike and hike trails, to beautiful scenery, to Barton Creek, a pure and cool stream that runs the length of the park. There's also the Umlauf Sculpture Garden, which is part of Zilker Park and which has all kinds of shruberry and plants cut into artistic sculptures. The park itself is free and fun for all. The Barton Springs Pool is also nearby.
