Too bad - the doctor was pretty good - she needs a new staff.

The doctors are great but the scheduling staff is unprofessional and make it difficult to get an appointment.

My husband and I love Dr. Jolet. She has seen our son since he was born almost four years ago. She is patient, answers all my questions, and seems genuinely concerned with his well being.
The after-hours service, however, has failed to impress me. My son has asthma, and I need a note giving his day-care permission to administer his inhaler. I was told that the triage nurse could write a note for me. I left three messages over the course of a month and never receive a response. When I finally sounded ticked off in my last voice message, I got a call back stating that the note was available at the front desk. Well, when I picked it up, the note stated that David could be administered a teaspoon of albuterol. My son's name is not David, and he does not take albuterol.
Another time, we were half way across the country on vacation when my son started to have a mild asthma attack. We'd been through this before -- I just needed the doctor to call in a prescription for him. It was Sunday, so I called and left a request for a call back from the on-call doctor. Well, after an hour, I took him to minor emergency. No one ever called me back from Southwest Pediatrics.
I've stayed with this clinic because I've had a good experience with Dr. Jolet and the other doctors I've seen there. Everyone at the appointment desk has been amazing, too. But I'm thinking about changing pediatricians because of the poor service we've received from other office staff.

Dr. Patil is my sons' physician. The coolest thing about her is that she knows me by name and gives me a hug each time that I see her. I feel that I can discuss all of my concerns with her and she takes the time to talk to me and ease the concerns. Dr. Rimer was also there when my second son was born.
