This is one of the best sushi restaurants in town. Delicious fatty tuna and salmon. Pieces are a good size. Price is average. Wonderful service. Great menu selections. Upstairs there is a nice Chinese restaurant called Chinatown. Their food is really good too. They have their own parking. Be prepared to wait if you go eat sushi at peak times.

Musashino serves the best sushi in Austin. Credibility runs through the head sushi chef with his experience under Morimoto (from Iron Chef on the Food Network). The portions are larger than high scale sushi restaurants (i.e. the infamous Nobu) which is a huge plus and they also make it with the best sushi rice preparation (many sushi restaurants do not even bother making sushi rice appropriately). Get ready to spit out a lot of money, but I recommend you go during lunch time and sit right in front of the bar. Order omakase (the chef decides what to make you) and if you're explorative type, then be sure to tell them because you might get lucky enough to get the creative items not even offered on the menu. The fish is extremely fresh and I recommend their eel and fatty tuna.
